About the Homestay
Valentina, Italian architect and photographer, lives in Cambodia for more than two years.
She arrived by chance in the first time, during a trip in 2008, but she never thought about leaving a piece of her heart; Cambodia as her own home.

Bellissima ospitalità. Valentina ed il marito sono disponibilissimi verso gli ospiti e sempre pronti ad organizzarti,se vuoi, le escursioni da fare.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in Siem Reap, Valentina! The house is beautifully decorated and the yard is gorgeous. We so appreciated that you had eggs and bread available for us to make in the morning as we did not have time to get breakfast. That was very thoughtful! Thank goodness the A/C works great and everything was well appointed. We also appreciated the tips about getting around and arranging rides to and from the airport for us. Valentina is wonderful!
My short stay in Valentina's homestay has been too short! From before I travelled to Siem Reap for the first time, Valentina has helped me answer many of my questions and by the time I reached there she has also helped in recommending places as well as ensure my transportation queries are met! Loved their home and the hospitality they have given me. I would have liked to stay longer to chat more but unfortunately I had to go home. Especially loved Valentina's homemade cooking as well as her husband's saxophone playing! Will def recommend to others and should I plan to visit Siem Reap will stay here again no doubt! Thank you so much!! Xoxo
Valentina has a beautiful home and the rooms offer plenty of space. I wish I had more time in Siem Reap so I could hangout more at the house since it has a great balcony and large backyard. Valentina is an extremely responsive host who answered all our questions right away. We didn't have time to try Valentina's cooking but would have if we had more time - we walked by when she was cooking once and it smelled great.
The greatest thing that came from staying with Valentina was her recommended tour with Bun! Bun is a Siem Reap local with good English who drove us in his Jeep to many of his favorite local spots away from tourists.
Valentina was absolutely amazing, she was so welcoming of us to her home. Her home is very beautiful and the room was fantastic. We only wish we could've spent more time with her getting to know more about Siem Reap and her story. She is so warm and caring, we definitely recommend her homestay for all to stay at.
Valentina's home is an ideal place to stay. It is only a short tuktuk ride to pub street, the temples and other places of interest but far enough out that one could get a decent nights sleep. The use of the outside kitchen was great, but don't miss out on sampling Valentina's homemade cooking. Valentina was above and beyond helpful in planning local trips and making suggestions for the onward journey. In my case I needed nursing with a 36 hour bug and it was very reassuring to know that I was being checked upon. The garden is a nice place to sit and paint and if you are lucky to listen to live music. If returning to Cambodia I would certainly stay here again and I recommend it to lone travellers, groups and couples. It really does deserve the five stars.
La estancia fue muy agradable. La habitación es correcta y tranquila, en una buena ubicación, y Valentina nos dio información y contactos muy útiles.
My brother and I loved staying with Valentina! Her place is lovely and has tons of personal charm. Both her and her husband were very helpful with recommendations on what to do or see around the city. Valentina even made fresh bread for us along with providing homemade mango spread and eggs for the morning. Her cats were super cute and very friendly as well! :) I highly recommend staying here!!
Valentina was a great host, she had an endless amount of suggestions when it came to every aspect of Siem Reap. From Jeep tours in the countryside to the best places to eat, Valentina knew all the spots and things to do. I enjoyed the various conversations with her and her partner Steve over breakfast or a cup of coffee. They are both full of exciting travel stories and great expat advice.
