Our home is a 5 bedroom - 4 bathroom home located in the town of Ajax (Audley and Salem area). I am a mother of 2 boys; we also have a playful family dog who is 1 and half years old. We have 2 spare bedrooms in our home that include an en-suite bathroom. Easy access to public transit and amenities. Fluent English and basic Spanish and French are spoken in the home. The home is a non-smoking home and is located in a new residential area. There is a family living room on the main floor and a media room on the top floor, along with laundry facilities in the home.
We are very family oriented and do a lot of things together as a family that include family dinners, amusement parks, museums, cinemas, local attractions and travelling, that of course, we would welcome our Homestay family member to involved with.
I have an educational background that includes a BA (Hons) - major in Forensic Psychology and a graduate certification in Addictions and Mental Health and an employment history of working with youth who are in conflict with the law.

About the Area
Our home is located in North Ajax is a new residential suburban and quiet area. There are lots of families with children who live in the area. There are several beaches about 5-10 minutes away as well as plenty of amenities in the area. The bus stop is within walking distance and has been proven to be safe and reliable.
The hospital is approximately 5KM away and there are several dentists and optometrists in the local area.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Guests are welcome to smoke outside of the home if they wish - just not inside.
Guests are welcome to have mature and responsible like friends come and visit; no over night stays.
Guests are encouraged to let me know how I can make their stay any more comfortable or if there is anything I can help them with.
No weapons are allowed in the home.
Noise level to be at acceptable level by 10pm Monday - Friday

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
