Our house is a fabulous old house that has a lot of character in a beautiful old neighbourhood. I am an Interior Designer, fun with a great sense of humour. I'm working on restoring this beauty.

My partner who is a painter and sculptor and I live in a beautiful 4 bedroom century home in Old East Hill which is a lovely, very old and established neighbourhood close to downtown Belleville; and a short drive to Prince Edward County which is famous for it's wineries, artist's galleries, and live music venues. We have 3 cats who are very friendly and who love to go outside most of the time. The house has a lovely backyard garden, large kitchen, beautiful dining room and living room, and tons of character. We are currently and lovingly restoring it back to it's original splendour. My passion as well as my profession is Interior Design. We are outgoing and friendly people.

About the Area
Our house is in the heart of the oldest part of Belleville in a beautiful neighbourhood, close to the original downtown core, and not far from Prince Edward County. There is a local Farmer's Market less then a 10 minute walk from here, the local library, the original old Theatre that has live music and plays, and another smaller theatre close by. Restaurants and local shopping very close by and a major mall is just a 10 minute drive away.

House Rules
It is lovely to dine outside and I have an outdoor dining table, a BBQ you are welcome to use, and a lovely lounge/couch on the deck.
HOUSE RULES: ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING, no parties, must be tolerant of pets because we have 2 cats, I will change your bedding twice a week, and give you fresh towels every 3rd day. Guests are free to use the kitchen as long as you clean up afterwards. No loud music. Television with internet service is included, as well as air conditioning in your bedroom. I ask that you respect my privacy and I will yours. You will share a bathroom with me, which has a full tub, and seprate shower, but please be clean and tidy. I am a very friendly, warm person who enjoys people's company and I would be more then happy to show you the beautiful sights in the area. Please be aware that this is a beautiful old house that has been featured in architectural books, but it is under gentle renovation as we have only lived here 2 years, and are busy restoring it. If you love a home with lots of spectacular character and rooms - this is it. I would prefer a depost given through e-transfer and if you have to cancel, I will refund your deposit as long as you have given me 7 days notice prior to your expected arrival date.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
