We live in the beautiful community of Professors Lake in Brampton Ontario Canada.
We are conveniently located minutes within bus routes, Brampton Civic hospital, major shopping centre's, and if course the beautiful lake!
There are 2 cozy rooms available are in the lower level basement. Homestay guests have their own kitchen and bathroom. This area is not shared with other people residing in the house. Laundry facility is on site and scheduled days can be arranged, There is Keyed Entry for the basement apartment and keyed entry for bedrooms as well.
Main Side entry is shared with 2 senior citizens living on ground level. Their rooms are closed off so minimal interaction is made.
This is a pet friendly home as we do have 2 small dogs who are extremely friendly and love all the attention they can get. They are in a seperate area but do share the backyard where the side entrance is so they may greet you in the yard at times. Elderly uncle has cats but they remain in his room and do not have access to the side entry corridor.
Mother and 2 sons live on the upper level.
Kitchen includes utensils, dishes, soap pots pand fridge, small kitchen cooking appliances, like kettle, toaster, cook top, seating area, table and chairs etc etc.
Cleaners, Mop & bucket, broom & dust pan, towels, cloths etc are all included.
Meals are not provided by us.
Smokers are permitted on premises but can smoke outside only.

About the Area
Professors Lake is known for its beautiful parks, the Lake, large homes on large lots, friendly more mature neighbour's, and perfect location to be within minutes of anything you could possibly require.
Buses, schools, major shopping centre's, grocery stories, gym, doctors offices, etc are all within minutes. Professors Lake is just down the street. Toronto Pearson Airport is 20 minutes away. Minutes to highway 410 access, movie theater, 30 minute drive to downtown Toronto.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
There is parking available.
Smokers are allowed but smoking must be outside only! Marijuana smokers must also smoke outside. There is a large backyard deck they may use. No other drug use is permitted!
No parties or invites unless approved by us. No late night music unless arrangements are made and permission ahead of time.
We ask that our home be treated with the upmost respect as you will be as well.
Food is not included but wifi, laundry soap, cleaners, dish soaps, towels etc are included.
Single Room also has a small bar fridge for use. And Large room has a working gas fireplace. We ask that when you do come in and leave the house, ensure door is locked and side gate is matched properly as we do not want the dogs to get lose. No parties at all!
Our home is a pet friendly home so we do also allow small pets but please confirm with us prior.
Both rooms come fitted with smart TVs as well!
If you need something do not hesitate to ask. We can run out to pick up items for you if we can.
One elder can speak some Ukrainian/Russian

Ellen made my life easy. She welcomed me with so much love. Her family members and their dogs are also very lovely. There's absolutely no regret living with Ellen at Brampton. Also the fire place in the room was a life saver for me, since I am experiencing very cold temperature for the first time in my life.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
