I stayed one night in Kens and Litas home. I feld very save and Ken made sure, that I can call him if something doesn't go well. I arrived very early in Calgary and there was nobody at home. But they explaned me how to get into the house and where my room is. I was alone with Lita and she let me feel like at home. Lita, thank you so much for the cool runnings - bob experience! :D

If I could rate my stay one night stay with this family its way way more than 5. I felt like I a relative to this family which would probably could have stayed more if I am not scheduled to work the following night. The place is A couple of minutes away to downtown but very accessible to public transportation. I stayed in one single room upstairs where I share the bathroom, kitchen with the Ken and his family. Since Lita Ken's wife is a Filipino like me we did get along right away. Lita gave me a ride to where I was going in downtown And pick me back up. Their 12 years old daughter is very nice too and a good entertainer. I get to meet Ken the following morning And had a nice conversation with him. This family are there and willing to help me on the one I need to download from my email and print a form. I couldn't say more but this kind of accommodations are not the ones you can find in an expensive 5 star hotel. Other ammenities they have is discuss by Ken on their site but for me the warm welcome is the best! I will definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends. I feel so safe and very comfortable.

Ken and Lita are wonderful hosts. With hot breakfast to start the day their family home is warm welcoming and tidy.
It's conveniently located too, just a 5 min stroll from the shops and with regular running public transport literally steps away you can be in the city in no time.
My room was self contained with fridge, stove top microwave, fully equiped with cookery, closet, computer desk, high speed internet all one would need to feel at home.
Quiet comfort at an affordable price. It was five stars ticking all the boxes for me.
My job is Strategic Sourcing and Procurement so shopping and getting best value is my job, so if that's what you're after you are in good hands. Ken even picked me up from the airport ($50 fare in cab) and didn't ask to be compensated. Super nice people!
I highly recommend Ken and Lita's homestay.Sincerely,
