I am a 69 y old retired lady, living alone with my cat since my boys left the family nest to live in their own house. I live in a large duplex with 4 bedrooms with own bathroom, large family room with TV , dinning room and large kitchen on the second floor.... Shared Laundry room. Large own garden and BBQ. The rent is $1000.00 per month for the large bedroom, queen size bed with dresser and desk. Own new renovated modern bathroom. Very large family room with dinning table and very large fridge. Walk-out patio with large garden...
I live in the second level with my cat.... The second floor consists also of a dinning room, large kitchen with nook and 2 full bathrooms. You can use my kitchen for preparing your meals and the BBQ too. Very close to University, restaurants, public library, theater & banking.
I like cooking, baking and gardening. I look forward to sharing my hospitality and friendship with you.

I speak English, French and Arabic...We have a double garage...I don't drive and no car..

We are 30 Minutes away from the Airport...The Bus stop is in front of the house 20 mins away to University of Calgary every 30 minutes and 15 minutes during the School time...Accessing the City Centre is very simple as the bus stop at Delhousie station LRT (train) where it takes you to City Centre in 20 minutes

Alice is a great host and the home is very nice. I had one of the downstairs bedrooms, and it was very comfortable and spacious. Alice is very kind, comforting, and friendly. For my stay here, there was a great cast of characters present. 5 Stars!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
