We are a family of 2, myself and my 19 year old daughter, and have 2 friendly, loving dogs also. We enjoy hiking, running, nature, trips to the lake, as well as movies, the arts, and music. We have been hosting international students for the past 2 years, and enjoy making our guests feel like a part of the family.
Our home is a ground level basement suite, with a large open kitchen, dining area, and living space that has a big screen tv. Our guest room is equipped with a comfortable queen size bed with a memory foam mattress, 2 end tables, 2 lamps, and a desk and chair. There is a large window that lets in plenty of light, and a full sized closet with shelving. Our guest has exclusive use of their own bathroom with both a tub and shower.
Our home is just a short 2 blocks to the main bus route, and just a 5 minute bus ride to Coquitlam Centre Mall, and the Evergreen line, which can take you to downtown Vancouver. There are plenty of parks in our area, with shopping, restaurants, and cafes only a 5 minute bus ride away.
As a Dietitian, I prepare healthy and well balanced meals, and love to incorporate international cuisine also.

About the Area
Our home is a short 5 minute bus ride to Coquitlam Centre Mall and Douglas College / Pinetree Secondary. There are many parks near by, as well as shopping, restaurants, and cafes all within the area. The Evergreen line takes you to Downtown Vancouver in about 45 minutes.

House Rules
We request that you respect the common area, keeping it tidy and cleaning up after yourself, and that you are quiet after 10:00pm on weeknights as we work early during the week.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
