My husband Stan and I own our lovely, modern 3 bedroom 3 bathroom home. It sits on a piece of land with a view of the uptown and the harbour. It is within 10 minutes walking distance to the uptown dining and shopping. My children have grown and are on their own. My son lives in California with his husband, and my daughter is in Ontario with her husband and two children. I also have 3 step daughters, my husband's children, and 4 grandchildren from his side of the family. We are a close family. My husband's siblings all live in the city whereas mine are out of town and some out of province. My very good friends are chosen family.

About the Area
Our home is located on the edge of the north side of the city. A short 10 minutes walk with get you to the uptown area of Saint John which is the oldest incorporated city in the country. It boasts a lovely waterfront, many old buildings with interesting architecture, a lovely 6 mile nature park, and a lovely waterfront walking trail. Along with great restaurants, bars and shopping. A public transit bus stop is 10 minutes walk away. My home has a view to the downtown and of the waterfront area.

House Rules
During the week we like to keep things quiet after 10:30 as that is generally bed time. On the weekends we sometimes keep later hours as we enjoy time with good friends and family. We would invite anyone to respectfully use the kitchen and family room to share in the family life. Tidiness is important, as is respect for my home and belongings.
Smoking and drugs, including marijuana, are not permitted in my home or on the property.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
