Located on Vancouver Island, Victoria is one of Canada's most beautiful cities with many attractions such as world famous Butchart Gardens. A warm family welcome awaits you in the lovely James Bay neighbourhood near Beacon Hill Park, the ocean and downtown. Your private access character suite is self-contained with own bathroom, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee. You will be able to enjoy refreshments on the verandah and watch the horse carriages go by as your host, a certified teacher, helps you with your English!

About the Area
We are conveniently located in the heart of James Bay, a friendly, leafy neighbourhood in a capital city that welcomes visitors 12 months a year who take guided walking tours or horse carriage rides to learn about our historic architecture.
The Fairmont Empress Hotel along with government Parliament buildings, Royal B.C, museum / Imax theatre and beautiful harbour are at one end of our street. The other end of our street is the Pacific ocean with beach and walking trails.
We are 2 blocks from the famous Beacon Hill park and the Dallas road waterfront.
3 blocks away you will find James Bay Square with all the amenities you'll need; markets, cafes and restaurants, banking, grocers, pharmacy & health services etc.
It is hard to exaggerate the quaint charm and interesting activities our area has to offer. This may be why we are visited by approximately 3 cruise ships per day throughout spring and summer!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
