We have a bedroom in the lower level of my home, available for September 1, 2023. Our home is smoke and drug free. We are situated in a quiet, clean, safe, and multicultural neighbourhood in Welland, Ontario. We are close to all major transit systems (Welland, Niagara Falls, St. Catherines). We are close to grocery stores, plazas, schools, gyms, beaches, libraries, and nature trails. Niagara College is 13 minutes away by car, 17 minutes away from Brock University, outlet shopping malls 30 minutes away. 30 minutes away from the Fallsview.
The room is modern, on the basement level with a window. It is clean, comfortable with a keyed door. It is completely furnished with amenities included: 1 room - 1 full bed (single or double occupancy) access to a galley style kitchen with two seating table, rain shower in bathroom, chair, WIFI internet, utilities, separate laundry facilities, iron, and closet. Linen can be provided. The upkeep is the tenant’s responsibility. You have access to the backyard. Meals are not included.
We are an outgoing, fun, and friendly 7th Generation Afro-Canadian born family. We want you to be comfortable in our home. Your visit with us will be a positive and memorable experience. Filled with a family environment and Canadian culture.
No overnight guests or parties are permitted. Notice is appreciated when planning to vacate the home. If you need more information about our accommodations, please reach out.

Our house is located in a child friendly neighbourhood and is a safe suburb. We are close to grocery stores, plazas, gyms, beaches, libraries, and natural walking trails. By car, 13 minutes from Niagara College, 17 minutes Brock University, 30 minutes outlet shopping malls, Fallsview Casino, and the Falls.

House Rules
No pets allowed. No parties. No unauthorized overnight guest(s). English to be spoken in common areas. Always lock door when leaving & entering. RECYCLE eg. boxes, containers, paper (if unsure ask np).UNPLUG appliances when not in use. Wash, dry & put away your dishes. Turn OFF lights, when not in use.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
