The house is located at the southern end of the city in the tourist area, close to hotels and small beaches, if you want to walk to the old part of the city (town center) need 30 minutes, Taxi no more than 5 and Bus 10 minutes

Great getaway from the busy cities in Cuba. Host offers a big breakfast (one of the best in Cuba) and is very helpful and kind with anything you need. You can also order diner if you prefer to stay at the casa. Rooms are very clean and cozy, we had a big bathroom with a good shower.

Really nice homestay at punta Gorda, the most beautiful place of Cienfuegos in our opinion. Especially the garden of the casa, literally at the seaside, is super nice. Although it rained a lot during our stay, we really loved the quietness and the view. This was the most 'bed and breakfast' type of stay we had in Cuba, but still it was personal. Gertrudis made us the best breakfast we had in Cuba! it's a nice 30 minute walk to the center of Cienfuegos, but you can also take a bicitaxi. Recommended to stay here when your'e in Cienfuegos!

We did make reservation, but on arrival there was no room available with 2 separate beds, as we mentioned in our reservation, and the place looked old fashion, so we did not stay, but super location, nice pool and small beach,. Tip for the owners, clean up a little bit the rooms, and no animals in room , and you have a good place

Gertrudis nous a reçu tres chalereusement (avec un petit souvenir-très agréable attention) et à notre grande surprise "en français" ! La casa est située idéalement à Punta Gorda (endroit très calme et avec un excellent petit-déjeuner servi sur la terrasse sur le golfe de Cienfuegos) inoubliable !! La chambre est agréable, la literie est bonne, seul petit bémol sur la propreté du frigo mis à la disposition. On a tres bien mangé chez Gertrudis le soir. À recommander chaudement.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
