Apartment very central, bright and with beautiful views. Ideal for marriage with children or for friends who want to comfortably share a central floor to be close to everything, go your own way and pay less than a hotel. The apartment has a large dining room with views, ideal to make breakfast or the first drink, before leaving to tap the havana. It also has 2 large bedrooms very well ventilated and illuminated. A bedroom decorated to the old (with bed and old wooden wardrobe) and another more modern (with bed and modern built-in wardrobe). Both bedrooms have double beds and are connected in suite with a new and fully equipped bathroom that is common for both bedrooms but with maximum privacy. It also has a lounge that connects to the balcony from where you can see the sea, "la raspadura" (the monument of the Plaza de la Revolución), the national library and the "Latin American" Baseball Stadium.
The apartment is located just 15 minutes walk from the Coppelia Ice Cream Parlor, in the center of Vedado. On the way you will meet the University of Havana, founded in 1728. In the opposite direction and only 15 minutes walking from the apartment, is located the "Café Cantante Mi Habana" and the National Theater of Cuba, where you can enjoy some Well Havana nights. If you continue with the walk and walk in the same direction for another 5 minutes you will find the Plaza de la Revolución and, on the other side, the Necropolis of Colón (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). The apartment is ideal to be positioned very centrally in the vedado but without supporting the noise and movement of important avenues.
It is very strategic because of its proximity to many sites of historical and cultural interest, which can be reached in a short time enjoying a pleasant walk around the neighborhood. The neighborhood where he is is familiar and very quiet. There are several "Paladares" (private Cuban restaurants and cafeterias) for different tastes and purchasing power. We recommend one of the palates of the neighborhood, just 100 meters from the apartment Rte: "Starbien", in our opinion the best of the vedado. Find it on Tripadvisor.
This apartment is rented as COMPLETE APARTMENT; not for rooms separately, so that even for a single guest you must rent the entire apartment. The published price is not for the separate rooms, but for the entire apartment.

The apartment is located in a quiet residential neighborhood yet full of life. Behind the house is the "Fajardo" Teaching Hospital where there is always movement of medical students. The apartment is located only 15 minutes walk from the Coppelia ice cream parlor in the Vedado. On the way you will meet before the University of Havana, founded in 1728.
In the opposite direction, just 15 minutes walk from the apartment, is located the "Café Cantante Mi Habana" and the National Theater of Cuba, where you can enjoy a good Havana nights. Rental possibilities:
Only the COMPLETE APARTMENT can be rented, with 2 rooms and bathroom en suite. For maximum privacy and comfort of the guests. In this case, up to 6 people can stay in the apartment (2 guests for each room and 2 guests in the sofa bed in the living room).
The apartment is delivered to the guests, without hosts inside. We are only going to do CLEANING or BREAKFAST in case of being hired by the guests.

Out in the suburbs of Havana. This 2 bed apartment is simple but adequate. Bathroom and kitchen been renovated. Two bedrooms - only one with air-con - leave a bit to be desired. We enjoyed staying in the area as it was in complete contrast to the tourist Havana. Felt we were amongst true Cubans. Breakfasts provided by Anabel were good and generous. We rarely needed lunch. A little more local information would have been helpful. How to get into town - taxi - haggle for 2 -5 CUC. Seemed to be no-where to buy food apart from the markets. Not a serious problem as we were out all day. Be aware that you cannot pop back to the apartment if you are out and about in old town Havana, it is too far. That said it worked fine for us.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
