Our house is an agro-ecological estate located in the middle of a natural environment, where you can breathe the clean air of the countryside. It has a varied cultivation of ornamental and fruit plants, within which is a beautiful grove for relaxation and meditation. It also possesses a microzoology with a great variety of exotic animals like jutías, majá de Santamaría, hawk, rabbits, gallaretas, crocodiles and peacocks. Its owners, Luis and Nancy (hence the name Finca LUNA), are renowned potters of the city of Matanzas, with an exquisite taste that have left printed, in each of the sculptures around the estate and the interior of the rooms . The latter, with a design based on a rustic style; have been decorated in stone and wood almost in their entirety. In Finca LUNA you will also find a small ceramic workshop with beautiful pieces created by your hosts. You can also enjoy its swimming pool with bar, ranchón with creole meals made with coal and a small playground. In the evenings you can enjoy dancing classes, if you prefer, or play a game of domino, (typical Cuban table game), where you will have a lot of fun, or you can simply set up a pleasant conversation, and ask all about customs and characteristics of our country, with the hosts.
This excellent place renowned for its traditions, and cultural and religious customs, is located in the center of the province of Matanzas, just 40 min. from the beach of Varadero, 50 min. Of the City of Matanzas, and at 1h and 30 min. Of the Cienaga de Zapata, place very visited by the travelers, when they make stay in the Finca.

We stayed for 1 night at Nancy's Finca. It's truly a fantastisch place to stay. You can get a tour around the place where you can find a little zoo and plantation. There is even a small pool. The rooms were very comfortable.
Our host was very helpfull, enthusiastic and preparerend great meals.
We absolute recommend Finca Luna.Greatings Albert

Hola, Buen Dia Nancy, Malgré une heure tardive d'arrivée 20h15(panne de freins), nous avons reçu un chaleureux accueil et un repas merveilleux,(tous les produits maison) et un mojito savoureux. S'en est suivi une discussion très agréable. Grande chambre avec trois lits, tout confort et sanitaire impeccable, très propre.
Au matin, petit déjeuner accompagné de fruits, jus, café et thé, pain et confiture, fromage et charcuterie, en abondance. Nous avons pu découvrir cet éden, jardin et piscine, terrasse couverte, gloriette. Grand jardin avec de nombreux arbres fruitiers (fruits servis à table), caféier aussi. Un oasis, situé à Jovellanos. Nancy, cuando estaba en Europa, no olviga de visitar Belgica.

Nous avons passé un super moment dans cette ferme à Jovellanos ! Ce sont des hôtes très sympatiques et le lieu est magique :)
Après la route que nous avions effectué, nous étions plus que ravis d'attérir dans ce petit coin de paradis avec des personnes adorables !

Our rooms wasn't available. Surbooking or not? Nancy and Luis oriented us to his brother in law saying that it was as least as pretty, bigger and comfortable. Unfortunately it wasn't the case. No Air Conditioning, not a Nice place. So we decided to go elsewhere. If you want to have a nice coffee for sure you can go!

This little piece of heaven deserves 6 or even 7 hearts. It is a little oasis half way between Cienfuegos and Havana. Not only is it a place to rest your head, but it is a private resort with wonderful people who are looking to make your stay as perfect as possible. Nancy & Luis, the owners, work with Leo and Myra (Nancy's siblings) to keep this property a tropical paradise. If you are interested, they will escort you around their gardens, give you a tour of town, teach you how to make a mojito or even dance! They put on a wonderful spread at dinner time, and one night brought in local entertainment. They made us feel very welcome with children, letting them assist the zoo keeper and even giving them a pottery lessons.
We travel a lot in Cuba and find this place to be something extra special.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
