About the Area
Our house is located in a quiet neighborhood, near the Malecon Habanero and 200m from the Paseo del Prado (the other side of this beautiful avenue is the historic center). If you move with a radius of 300m, you will have access to Central Park, Capitoloio, Gran Teatro de La Habana Alicia Alonso hotels: Central Park Plaza, Saratoga, Telegrafo, England, etc.
If you enjoy walking, on the Malecon you can walk to the end of Vedado municipality bordering the beach.
If you would like to be transported to know the city, you can do it in the Bustour with 10 CUC per day, you can hop on and off as many times prefer to bun city tour designed to your liking, and even you can also go to the beaches east, on a different route. Do not be surprised to find best prices, collective taxis and bu s line.

I can't really review the room itself, therefore an average room evaluation. I can only say that apparently the room needed some repair first from the hurricane a few months before, without me being informed before arriving in Havana.
To make a long story short, a room was reserved for me in Casa Viola just around the corner, in Trocadero 157.
This room was quiet alright, at the back of the house, which means no traffic noise. The location is quite close to old Havana. Friendly hosts as well who were very helpful.
Note: I was there in December, not February as Homestay strangely takes always the date of writing the review, instead of booking date.

La estancia en casa de Yanet fue perfecta!! es una familia encantadora, nos trataron como si fuéramos de la familia y nos ayudaron muchísimo cuando se retrasaron unos días nuestras maletas. Está en el centro, entre Habana vieja y centro Habana, a un paso del capitolio y del paseo Martí. Recomendable al 100%.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
