Apartment located in the core of Havana´s Historical Center with 2 rooms for rent and the comfort you need for a pleasant stay. Cleanness, safety and a perfect location are our main assets. We have 23 years of experience renting our home so we know exactly what to do to meet your expectations.
Our 2 rooms have the following to meet your expectations: in-suite bathroom (hot and cold water), soap, toilet paper and bath-gel, hair dryer, 1 double bed each room (2 adults + 2 children max) and A/C.
We are a couple in our late 40s with excellent sense of humor and lots of energy!! We love sports but particularly baseball and soccer. Excursions to the countryside, ballet performances and pets are pillars of our relationship as well. I was trained as a Primary School Teacher and my husband Alberto as a Chemical Specialist in the sugar cane production process, but we are currently fulltime devoted to the family business renting this apartment. Alberto is an excellent cook too!!! Particularly Cuban food and drinks!!!!
We are very talkative and easygoing and we speak basic English so communication won´t be a problem. We have a son and a daughter but either of them live with us in the apartment because they have their own families. However, you may be welcome for several pets like birds and goldfish, and Grecia, a one-year-old Chihuaha.
We know Havana very well so do not hesitate to ask us whatever you want to do because you´ll always have our conscious opinion and guidance. If you are up to any particular activity such as guided tours, salsa classes, a massage or a day trip outside Havana to Viñales or Trinidad, we can also help you to arrange them through our acquaintances.
Our doors are open to anyone without discrimination of any kind so you will be welcome regardless your skin color, sexual orientation or religion. We are available for you 24/7 so you can count on us!!
Alberto or myself will always be at home to welcome you. Once you check in, I´ll give you the keys to your room and an explanation on everything you should know to move around Havana. Doing this we will enjoy a complimentary welcome Cuban coffee, a cup of tea or a lemonade.

About the Area
When in 1584 Havana had only four streets, Calle de los Oficios was one of them, its name come from the presence of many craftmen. It is a long street that allows to imagine Havana during colonial times, with its many characteristic facades and which contains interesting museums. The Casa Alejandro de Humbolt is devoted to the German explorer and it is the next building to our left. Our house is strategically located within a walking distance of Old Havana´s main historical sites and plazas. We are surrounded by the most prestigious private restaurants in the city like La Vitrola, Bar Azúcar, La Bohemia, Los Mercaderes, El Escorial, etc. These paladares are just steps away from our front door. If dancing and life music is your favorite night outing, we have La Taberna del Benny around the corner which is the main site of the famous Buena Vista Social Club ensemble.
We are very close to Malecón, the Sea side promenade (100 meters), Plaza Vieja (120 meters), Plaza de la San Francisco de Asís (100 meters), all of them must see in Havana.
You can also find several museums, theaters, banks, hotels, exchange offices in the surroundings. Special mention deserve Plaza de Armas and Castillo de la Real Fuerza.

House Rules
Not registered visitors must be approved by the owner -No underage visitors -Moderated alcohol consumption -No drugs -No loud noises to avoid bothering neighbors -You are responsible for damages and lost in your room -Smoking is allowed only in the smocking area outside the apartment -Avoid battering the room doors -When out, turn off the A/C and lights and make sure you lock all the doors behind you -When the A/C is on please close the bathroom door -Avoid wet towels and clothing on mattresses and furniture -In case you lose your set of keys, 10.00 USD will be charged -When checking out make sure you are not leaving personal belongings behind -Check out time 12:00 pm max.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
