Hostal Oceanía is a beautiful house in the center of the city of Playa Larga within the Ciénaga de Zapata National Park, offering foreign tourists the lease of 3 comfortable rooms touched by the breezes of the sea. Fully air-conditioned and equipped, each one has two double beds inside and a private bathroom with 24-hour hot and cold water, a fridge and Wi-fi service.
It also has a beautiful garden in a natural and relaxing environment, independent entrances to the rooms, parking areas, terrace decorated with ornamental plants, a tasty ranch style peasant to enjoy the different breakfasts and traditional Cuban cuisine, taste excellent cocktails, drinks, breakfasts and dinners included for vegans and vegetarians all with good taste and quality in its preparation, honoring the culinary culture in Cuba.

About the Area
The house is located in the center of the city of Playa Larga, GPS Lat. (22.287084) and Long (81.204984). With beautiful beach, incredible views, art, culture, restaurants and food. My accommodation is comfortable, ideal for couples, adventurers, business travelers, families (with children) and large groups.
Our environment presents a special natural wealth, able to attract the attention of lovers of nature tourism, facilitating bird watching, hiking, ecotourism, diving, adventure tourism, sport fishing, and the enjoyment of Sun and Playa, and even for those interested or scholars of the recent history of the island.
The richness of the flora and fauna is guaranteed by the presence of more than 900 plant species, 160 species of birds and numerous species of mammals, fish, amphibians and reptiles, among which the Cuban crocodile stands out. It should be noted the total absence of dangerous animals to man as poisonous snakes or beasts (nonexistent in Cuba), which allows the enjoyment of nature in an environment of absolute security and tranquility.

We stayed at Jordanis Hostal for 3 days. Jordanis keeps the hostels very professionally. The room was clean and well organized. He has a bar and mix very tasty Mojitos. He has also many funny animals included a little sweet cat. Breakfast and dinner were very abundant and tasty! Especially the little pancakes.
We just have to point out that we missed the direct communication with Jordanis before our arrival.

Der Aufenthalt bei Jordanis war super. Die Familie hat im oberen Geschoss zwei Zimmer mit einem Bad, alles sehr sauber und modern. Genau richtig für uns als vierköpfige Familie. Wir wurden äußerst herzlich in Empfang genommen und haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Die Familie servierte ein gutes Frühstück und ging zudem noch auf individuelle Wünsche ein. Sie halten zwei Baumratten, in die sich die ganze Familie verliebt hat. Abends konnte man gemeinsam sitzen und sich austauschen. Es war alles muy autentico - todos gustabamos mucho.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
