The house is located in the historic center of the swamp of zapata, is equipped with all the conditions for you to feel comfortable in it and enjoy your vacation, we offer services and activities so that you know the area and its surroundings its culture and their habitants
My house is located in the historic center of Playa Largo has a few meters away the international clinic with pharmacy, the park of the wifi, bank, exchange house, ATM, etecsa office, shop, Viazul station, office of the Park National, beach, dive center, shopping center and so on. We are a family of 3 my husband, my son and I. I dedicate myself to serving clients at home, my son studies and my husband works in a warehouse of construction materials. I am fond of cooking, music.
I am available to offer advice to guests and also offer a light breakfast in the morning and included in the price. I also offer lunch, dinner and cocktail bar for anyone interested. We help you prepare your excursions in case you need a taxi, we will call you for the same for the excursion that when you want to leave you have the option of Viazul, collective taxi or private taxi. From our terrace where you can have your breakfast you can observe different species of birds. We also have wifi connection

About the Area
The Ciénaga de Zapata is a marshy ecosystem, located on the homonymous peninsula, belonging to the province of Matanzas in Cuba. It is the largest insular Caribbean wetland with an approximate space of 300 thousand hectares. It has a length of 175 km from east to west, between Punta Gorda and Jagua, and a maximum width of 58 km from north to south. It has the most complex karst drainage system on the island of Cuba. It is part of the best preserved green regions of the archipelago.
Predominant there landscapes of low plains, swampy and semipantanosas, on turbosos deposits and limestone rocks, with hydromorphic soils and vegetation of natural savannas of high aesthetic value and landscape, such as the Treasure Lagoon and the Hatiguanico river basin, main fluvial artery of the area, as well as Playa Larga and Playa Girón. As a whole, the vegetation of the Ciénaga de Zapata is one of the most important green areas of Cuba and, for the very species of the flora and fauna that it houses, represents a place of global interest. The forest patrimony of the Ciénaga de Zapata is constituted by: natural forests (233 265.3 ha), young plantations (928.2 ha) and established plantations (4 170.8 ha). The fauna is represented by 15 species of mammals, 258 of birds, 43 of reptiles, 4 of fish and 16 of amphibians, as well as a great variety of insects and other invertebrates. Among the animal species stand out 5 local endemics and 16 endangered. This region is also one of the most important refuges of 65 species of migratory birds.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
