Modern and recently refurnished apartment with all the commodities to make your trip to Cuba a memorable journey.
We’re in Miramar, Playa, 5 minutes away from Vedado downtown and 10 minutes away from Old Havana.
Our apartment is the perfect home for those who prefer to enjoy Cuba’s intensity but keeping some privacy for oneself, with functional and totally equipped spaces, away from downtown’s hustle and bustle.
It is a full flat with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, terrace and a small patio.
You can rent only one of the rooms but still have access to the other spaces. We live at the other room but if the entire flat is needed, we move to the first floor, where my grandma lives. We take care of breakfast, cleaning services, morning chats :-) and everything else you might need.
The house has cold and hot water at all services and a pressurizer water pump to keep liquid pressure at all times throughout house. Rooms are wide open with natural light and recently installed AC systems. There is a 55-inch TV with HD channels available.
The one we call the “blue room” has the bathroom in-room, while the second bathroom (the one we call “red bathroom”) is in the hall between the bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a queen-size bed and the other one has two hotel-size beds, meaning a bit bigger than the personal-size.
Our flat is perfect for couples, families, groups of friends and business travelers.

About the Area
Our house is in Miramar, Playa, 5 minutes away from Vedado downtown and 10 minutes away from Old Havana.
1. A 15-minute walk will be enough to reach famous 5th Avenue, the sea and the shopping centers. Numerous cafeterias and restaurants are on the radio of our apartment, as well as nightclubs –Sangri La is 100 meters away from the apartment–.
2. Official “yellow cabs” are the modern way to transport around town. You can get them at hotels or arrange travels by phone.
3. Collective taxis or “almendrones” (almond-shaped vintage cars) are the most popular mean of transportations among Cubans. Our street is an important one in their circuits. From here you can go to Vedado, Habana Vieja, or Playa for about 1usd per person per trip.
4. Vintage convertible cars (Chevys, Fords, and Pontiacs from the 50’s) are the tourists’ favorites. They usually have a fixed one-hour route from Miramar to Old Havana.
5. Habana Bus Tour is the typical hop-on hop-off touristic bus that gives you the Havana panoramic you need in one hour or so. Their route –a few times a day– includes 42 street which is 100 meters away from ours.

- No se permite la compañía de prostitutas o proxenetas. Todos los acompañantes serán requeridos de presentar identificación, de lo contrario no podrán acceder al apartamento. / No hookers or pimps are allow to enter the apartment. If you bring any companions, an ID will be required upon arrival.
- Su pasaporte y visa serán solicitados al momento del registro en el libro de clientes, para chequeos obligatorios con Inmigración. / Your passport and visa will be required just upon registration, for Immigration controls.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
