Miramontes is an oasis of tranquility, nestled in the Sierra del Rosario. The Miramontes cabin is a comfortable, rustic and charming accommodation in Soroa. It is surrounded by peaks with tropical forests, ruins of coffee plantations from the French century, trails, ponds and waterfalls, and one of the most interesting biodiversity in the country.
It is a wooden cabin in the traditional Cuban peasant style, with a gabled roof and palm slat walls. It is disconnected from the aqueduct service and has its own spring. The perfect naps are in the patio hammocks under the shade of the trees and with the chirping of the birds.
Guests will enjoy total privacy. However, the hosts will be 24 hours awaiting your needs and desires.
Soroa has magnificent tourist routes, but the best thing about the place are the interesting corners that only the locals know about. And their hosts we can reveal them to you.

It is located in the Soroa valley, in the heart of the Sierra del Rosario.
Just 800 meters from the waterfall, the viewpoint, the hotel and the Orquideario de Soroa.
Only 70 kilometers, 1 hour from Havana.

Our experience at Wanda's place was fantastic! Wanda was incredibly friendly and fluent in both English and French, which made communication easy. The accommodation was beautiful. Wanda provided us with tips on local activities and sights to explore, reflecting her own enthusiasm for the area, which was contagious. The surroundings were stunning, absolutely worth a visit, and staying at Wanda's place made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a delightful stay enriched by a wonderful host.

We realy loved our stay at Wanda's place. It was our favourite place in Cuba. Her house is located in such a beautiful area. Wanda is a lovely host, we really loved her vibe and the vibe of her casa! She can prepare a good breakfast and dinner for you. Would really recommend to make a stop in Soroa. You can visit a waterfall, Las Terrazas and do beautiful hikes in the area.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
