We absolutely loved staying with Dianabel and her family! They were so welcoming, the location is idyllic with fantastic views of Vinales. The food was great, we had dinner one evening which was incredible. Dianabel was really helpful in arranging activities and giving advice. A really relaxed and comfortable place to stay - would definitely recommend! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We sure like this casa. On the outskirts of the centre of Vinales, Marissa and her husband were very welcoming. We felt at home and stayed for four nights. Very nice views on the Mogotes and countryside, we enjoyed the terrace and the many plants she is keeping up with. We had (to our request) a very good vegetarian dinner on our last night. Breakfast was mainly fruit and juices, added with bread, home made cookies, fresh eggs and coffee: we could skip lunch. They shared many information on the region and arranged a horse ride through the typical country side of Vinales (coffee plants, tobacco, rum,....). We did also two longer walks of 7-hours on and around the mogotes. Few signposts but well worth searching and navigating our own way meeting farmers and lots of birds, cows, pigs and cuban country life. After four days we felt leaving friends.

We stayed in this home for two nights.
The room for 4 is small, clean, with a decent bathroom . The beds though were a bit too sturdy for us. Breakfast and diner were great.
Piri and Maritza are very warm and happy people. They will make any effort for you to enjoy your stay, we felt very welcome. Thanks for that!Host reply

Great stay! Maritza took care of us and treated us like family, .We had the chance to have our boy who speaks spanish so it was easy to communicate.Pirry and Maritza were very friendly and welcoming and they laughted a lot . The view of the casa is stunning and the rooms are quiet because it isn't in the center of the city ( but not far away). The breakfast are delicious with pancakes and fruits . We had dinner once and it was perfect with big quantities ! Pirry and Maritza are of course great dancers and they showed us the basis of salsa . We really enjoyed our stay in this family and if we go back one day in vinales we won't hesitate to go there again. Thank you very much , you are our prefered hosts !

We had two great overnight stays in Vinales! The room was clean, the breakfast was good and the view was stunning! But we will remember Vinales most for the short tour Piri gave us of the countryside one afternoon. He tells with enthousiasm about the region and has a great sense of humor. if you tell him what you want to do, he can give you good advice.

It is a lovely homestay. We, a Dutch family, stayed here in april 2018. Our daughter of 4 had a great time, thanks to the hosts. Their granddaughter en -son came over to play. It is a quite place, great view from the terrace, located just a couple of minutes (walking) from the centre. Horseriding can be organised and is at walking distance as well. Breakfast is abundant. Room is clean and better then the pics shows.

We had the best time at Dianabel’s casa. If you want to experience the true Cuban culture and people Dianabel will walk you through, among others, salsa classes, excursions, Cuban food and nightlife, we had a deep dive into the real Cuba as you would never expect it. We thank again Dianabel for letting all this happen and we look forward to seeing you soon again.

Dianabel's house is the reason why you want to visit Cuba. 5 minutes from the main street with lots of food options, however, her home cooking and cocktails are some of the best with the added bonus of the view looking over the tobacco farm and mountains. We did a horse ride which she organised for us and this was a highlight of our trip. Her granddaughter was very cute and loved to meet the travelers. We would have loved to have stayed longer and would return next time we are in Cuba. Cheers from a couple of New Zealanders.
