Hey there !
Since my boyfriend Georg and I, Katharina, moved together in his Munich flat, we sometimes kind of miss having flatmates as we were used to shared flats for many years.
We both kind of work in the film industry.
Georg is 27 and currently working at German Films, the infomation and promotion company for german film worldwide. He is working 9 to 5.
Katharina is working as a freelancer, she is at least one week per month in France (she used to live there the last 6 years and also speaks fluently french), the rest of the time she works at home on documentaries and journalism.
We have a 50 m2 flat with two rooms, when you will be here you will live in our huge living room (former room of the flatmate, so there also is a bed inside). And you even have a balcony where you can smoke or watch the people passing. Of course, we won't use the living room during your stay. No problem if you're a couple or good friends as its a 140 cm bed and also comfortable for two.
We live directly at Hohenzollernplatz, in Munich-Schwabing, which is well know for its mixture of nice little bars and traditional german restaurants. The metro station is directly in front of the house, you literally can jump from the balcony on the metro if you wish.
As it's a residential area it's really calm during the night, so you don't have to worry having trouble sleeping.
Georg and I both traveled a lot and also lived abroad in Paris and London, so we're really looking forward to meeting new people !

Über die Gegend
Our house is directly at Hohenzollernplatz, there is a metro station of the U2 just in front of the house (you literally could jump from the balcony on the metro if you wish ;)
Hohenzollernplatz is the line U2, its only 4 stops (5 min metro or 30 minutes walking) from the Munich Central Station and around 40 minutes with one change to the airport. If you come by car I can tell you where you can find a free and safe parking only 10 minutes walking distance from our house.
Around the corner at Hohenzollenplatz you have everything you need, supermarket, bakery, butcher, cafés and restaurants in two minutes walking distance.
The museums and sights and the city centre are 15-20 in minutes walking distance or less than 5 min metro.

Hausregeln
We both smoke occasionally, but never in the apartment. If you're a smoker, you are welcome to smoke on the balcony.
We both like good beer and wine and it is possible that Georg will take you shopping to show you some great bavarian beers !
We both really like to cook, you can eat with us against a little fee if you wish.
As Georg works and has to get up at around 7:30, we go to bed at around midnight and from then on it needs to be silent in the apartment.

Wann zahle ich?
Wenn ein Gastgeber bestätigt, dass er verfügbar ist, können Sie die Buchungsgebühr 15% bezahlen (maximal 250 $£€ für längerfristige Buchungen). Sie können zwischen verschiedenen Zahlungsmethoden wählen, um die Buchungsgebühr zu bezahlen: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB und PayPal (in bestimmten Ländern nicht verfügbar). Den Rest bezahlen Sie bei Ihrer Ankunft oder im Voraus direkt an Ihren Gastgeber.
Wann kann ich meine Kontaktdaten teilen?
E-Mail-Adresse, Telefonnummer und Anschrift von Gast und Gastfamilie sind in einer Bestätigungsmail enthalten, die unmittelbar nach Abschluss einer Buchung an beide Seiten übermittelt wird. Es verstößt gegen unsere Vorschriften, Kontaktinformationen direkt über unser Mitteilungssystem auszutauschen.
