We rent a room of the 4 that our house has, this helps us in the family economy. The room is on the first floor and includes a small living room with a spectacular view of the Beagle Channel and the mountains. It is located 12 blocks from the city center, where you can walk in 15 minutes. At home you can feel like one of the family. We are a marriage with a baby and three more children who are part-time at home. We both speak Spanish and English. We like to receive people and share part of the culture and knowledge about Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego so that the visitors get the best experience.
Whenever possible, we are going to look for guests at the airport to guide them and give them the first tips about the city and the options it offers.
Every day we offer coffee or tea, milk, bread, butter and jams for breakfast (included with the stay).
You can use the common spaces like the living room and the kitchen, and use without any cost the kitchen utensils and basic ingredients like salt, oil and spices.
The bathroom is shared (only with the family since it is the only room rented in the house).
When schedules match, we usually bring guests to the city interest points as museums o buss stop.
Notice to all travelers who come to Ushuaia, to convert the price in dollars or euros to Argentine pesos, you must consider that it does not correspond to the "official" price. The value that the hosts consider is the so-called "blue dollar" or "parallel dollar", which is a little more than double the official value (currently, 2022).
It will be a pleasure to answer any queries you have and give them place at home.

We give the guests a key so they can enter and leave when they want the house. We only dont permit smoke inside the house, and not abuse alcoholic beverages, since it is a family home.
For booking, you can pay by payoneer, neteller or paypal, a half of total cost, and the other half at the checkin.
In the house there are cats, if you are allergic to cats or you do not mind their presence, please do not book the room. Please, if you use the kitchen, leave the things and spaces you used clean. You can relax in the house and share as if you lived permanently in it. The house is handcrafted by ourselves in wood, walking usually makes a bit of noise but we are accustomed and we do not listen. We like to share time and space without obligation or commitment. Be free, be happy. If you need anything, ask us if we can help you, it will be our pleasure to help you if we can.

Amazing homestay. Felt like home. Awesome views from the windows . Eduardo has excellent knowledge of the city and is very considerate. His children are adorable and loved spending time with them which was a bonus.

Eduardo and his wife Nairine were super lovely and welcoming, Eduardo offered to take us from the airport and dropped us also at the end. The hosting was warm, very nice and authentic home with a green house where Nairine grows her vegetables.

Eduardo fetched us from the airport, indicating useful places for us on the way to his house, which was great. His house has fabulous views over the Beagle Channel, but is a good 20 minutes walk steeply uphill from the port area. The family made us very welcome and we were able to use their kitchen and washing machine. We had no problem with the narrow spiral staircase to our room, but did find the heat of the house rather excessive as the weather was warmer than England during our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

¿Cuándo se realiza el pago?
Una vez que un anfitrión confirme su disponibilidad, puedes continuar con la reserva mediante el pago del 15% como tarifa de reserva (con un máximo de 250 $£€ para estancias de larga duración), utilizando uno de los siguientes métodos: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB y PayPal (este último no está disponible en ciertos países). Posteriormente, pagarás al anfitrión el mismo día de la llegada, o según las condiciones descritas en el perfil del anfitrión y acordadas en el momento de la reserva. Hay que prestar especial atención a las solicitudes de pago por adelantado por parte del anfitrión, especialmente cuando estas condiciones de pago no están incluidas en el perfil del anifitrión. Todos nuestros anfitriones han sido informados de que si desean solicitar un pago por adelantado, deben indicarlo claramente en el perfil. En cualquier caso, recomendamos desconfiar de quienes soliciten que se realice un pago a través de Money Gram o Western Union.
¿Cuándo se publican los datos de contacto?

El intercambio de datos de contacto personales entre los anfitriones y los huéspedes a través de los mensajes que se envían a través de nuestra plataforma, va en contra de nuestra política.
