We live in a very clean, friendly and safe neighbourhood in North Vancouver close to Grouse Mountain and other ski resorts,walking trails, biking routes, Capilano Bridge, Lynn Canyon Park and bridge,etc. at the same time about 10 minutes away from downtown Vancouver by car and about 30 minutes by bus. There are 2 bus stops to downtown Vancouver just outside the house. Parking is on the street outside the home and also parking in driveway for 1 car.
If a guest stays for 7 days or more then laundry (once a week) is provided free. If the guest stay is less than a week then laundry is $10.00 per load.

Normas de la casa
Rules are normal family rules. No smokers, drug users, alcohol, noisy or party going people. Also respect and consideration for host family, fellow students, fellow guests and Canadian values. No friends , male or female, of guests allowed in the house or the room.
Wifi charges, for 1 device only.
For 1 week or less $15.00
For upto 2 weeks $20.00
For upto 3 weeks $30.00
For upto 4 weeks $40.00
Payment Method: guests might be required to pay a 25% down payment in advance of your arrival and the balance upon arrival at the hosts home. Bank details will be informed after confirming the booking on line.
Cancellation Policy: we ask our guests to give us at least 7 days notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.
Clothes washing: when a guest arrives for more than 7 nights clothes will be washed once a week, 1 load only, at no charge.
If the guest arrives for less than 7 nights there will be a charge of $10.00 per load.

It was a lovely stay at Phil and Mehrshid 's home. They are so kind and friendly. And I'm grateful for joining the Christmas dinner. It was special memory!
Although I haven't talked much, still felt warm and memorable.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at their place. Phil and Mehrshid are very kind, humble and amazing hosts. They treat their guests as a family member and never make you feel away from home. Went there as a guest but returned as a family. Thanks a lot Phil and Mehrshid for everything.!!

Hi Phil, I couldn't say a proper goodbye so here it is now - thanks for making me feel at home. Your sightseeing advice really helped me to get through the 2 days in Vancouver, and so did your umbrella! Your place is a lovely nest and I'll see you again during my next Vancouver visit.

Phil is an excellent host and his house has the best conditions for a nice stay in North Vancouver, as well as having an excellent location for all people who like hiking and ecotourism like me. And even though I don't speak English very well, Phil went out of his way to make me feel great, and if I return to Vancouver in the future, I won't hesitate to stay at his place again.

My stay with Phil and Mehrshid was very enjoyable and comfortable. They are nice, understanding grounded, and travel/hosting-wise; willing to converse and offer advice on local travel, sightseeing, society and other subjects. They provided a nice upper floor bedroom in a beautiful home with a beautiful mountain view from windows. The location itself is scenic and close to nature with regular bus service linking quickly to transit hubs in North Vancouver (Lonsdale Quay) as well as Vancouver Central (Waterfront Station) and then one can go anywhere. Due to my busy sunrise to sunset travel plan, I had only few occasions to talk with them but those were pleasant and full of helpful information for which I sincerely thank them. I would recommend them to any traveler without hesitation.

¿Cómo se hace una reserva?
Ponte en contacto con el anfitrión para comprobar su disponibilidad y preguntar todo lo necesario sobre la estancia. Una vez que el anfitrión confirme que está disponible para esas fechas, podrás confirmar la reserva.
¿Cuándo se realiza el pago?
Una vez que un anfitrión confirme su disponibilidad, puedes continuar con la reserva mediante el pago del 15% como tarifa de reserva (con un máximo de 250 $£€ para estancias de larga duración), utilizando uno de los siguientes métodos: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB y PayPal (este último no está disponible en ciertos países). Posteriormente, pagarás al anfitrión el mismo día de la llegada, o según las condiciones descritas en el perfil del anfitrión y acordadas en el momento de la reserva. Hay que prestar especial atención a las solicitudes de pago por adelantado por parte del anfitrión, especialmente cuando estas condiciones de pago no están incluidas en el perfil del anifitrión. Todos nuestros anfitriones han sido informados de que si desean solicitar un pago por adelantado, deben indicarlo claramente en el perfil. ¿Cuándo se publican los datos de contacto?
