Santa Marta is a small Town just 1 km from the beach of Varadero. It gives visitors the best option for being in contact with the cuban people and eat in local family run Restaurants wich are often the best places to eat in Cuba with affordable prices. There are more than 8 Restaurants and Cafes many of them open 24 hours, as well as some Bars and ice-cream Cafeterias. Our Apparment is very well situated at only 3 blocks of these area on first Avenue where Visitors will have other facilities like access to WiFi, Exchange Office know as Cadeca and Food Market.
The most pleasant way to go the beach and cheapest is to hire a Bicitaxi it cost 1,00 CUC per Person.
Double Decker Bus Hop-on Hop-off tour, stops every 15 min. near "Fatima Church". It runs between 09:00 am and 07:30 pm all the peninsula of Varadero and cost only 5,00 CUC per Person round trip, the ticket, all Day valid.
BIKING
Bicycles are available at Home and can be used to go to the beach or to tour Varadero beach.

Unseren Appartment liegt sehr zentral, nur 3 Blocks/Straßen von diesem Bereiche auf der Hauptstraße entfernt, wo Besucher andere Einrichtungen wie Zugang zum WiFi, Exchange Office wie Cadeca und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten haben.
Die billigste und angenehmste Möglichkeit den Strand zu Besuchen, ist die Anmietung eines Bicitaxi, der pro Person 1,- CUC kostet.
Der Doppel-Decker Bus Hop-on Hop-off Tour, hält alle 15 min. in der Nähe von der Fatima Kirche. Es verkehrt zwischen 09:00 Uhr und 19:30 Uhr die ganze Halbinsel Varadero. Das Ticket kostet nur 5,- CUC pro Person hin und zurück und ist den ganzen Tag gültig.
Die Gastgeber Azaris und Alex sind rund um die Uhr für jegliche Hilfe erreichbar. Alex spricht Englisch und Französich und Azaris ist Friseurin. My stay in Santa Marta was extremely good.
Azaris and Alex where exceptional kind to me and went beyond in their hospitality.
The room that I rented for 1 week resulted in my return a month later for a 6 week stay.
Their home/room is ideally located,a 10 minute walk to Varadero beach,bicycle taxis,bus or cab are located in Santa Marta a 2 minute walk.
The room (2nd floor)was fantastic with a full bed and bathroom with TV and a patio attached that was private.
There is also an attached kitchen.
A beautiful breakfast is served every morning with a Smile.
I cannot say enough about Azaris and Alex fine home and I must apologize for not remembering their helper.
This room was totally cleaned every other day from top to bottom,Extremely clean.
I highly recommend this HomeStay and you will not find finer people in this world than this couple.

Better than many hotels! Very nice family, they were most helpful during our stay. They provided a lot of information, showed around the neighborhood and gave great tips what to do, where to go and how. Walking distance from the Varadero beach! Great location, in the middle of everything and still peaceful. Very clean room and house. Absolutely best breakfast, you need to take it!
