Casa japonesa con estilo tradicional

This a the quintessential traditional Japanese homestay! The Tatami mats in living area and your bedroom are the real deal! Horigotatsu/Kotatsu in the that is fully interchangeable to transform the living area into a functional yoga space that luckily has an in-house instructor, Yuki! From the traditional futon bedding to the hybrid shower/bath this stay gives you a taste of how it used to be. Keith and Yuki are accommodating, friendly and very knowledgeable on the region. We really enjoyed our time there and regret doing it towards the end of our trip and should have done it at the start so we could have spent more time exploring the area. Thanks Keith and Yuki for welcoming us into your home!

Nos hôtes, Keith et Youki nous ont accueillis avec la plus grande gentillesse ! Nous avons pu avoir de longues conversations avec eux deux, malgré la barrière des langues (japonais, anglais et français) dans la plus grande bonne humeur. Des visites, sorties, nous ont été conseillées, grâce auxquelles nous avons fait de jolies découvertes.
Leur maison, d'une propreté irréprochable, répondait à 100 % à notre attente car en très grande partie de tradition japonaise. Un vrai bonheur ! Notre but en louant une chambre chez l'habitant était d'avoir une relation avec des Tokyoïtes et de comprendre leur manière de vivre, de penser. Cela a été une réussite totale !
Si nous devions revenir à Tokyo, c'est absolument sans hésiter que nous chercherions à retourner chez Youki et Keith

Keith and Yuki are the most amazing hosts and their house is the cutest place you can ever find. If you are looking for a traditional Japanese house in a silent neighborhood, you found it. The bus lines are only 4 to 6 mins away by walk. Then you take Subway. Always use google maps. They are both very helpful by providing you with instructions for whereabouts and how-tos. House was very clean at all times. Breakfast was simple yet delicious.
Miss you guys already!

My stay with Keith and Yuki was spectacular. As my first accommodation for my trip around central Japan (Tokyo segment) I could not have chosen a better place. Keith and Yuki were very nice, considerate, and helpful. Basically, the entire house was available for my use and it felt very comfortable. Moreover, they provide a small set of site seeing recommendations around the general area. Additionally, if you have any issues, questions, or concerns about travelling around Japan, they have you covered. Keith and Yuki provide advice and insight about places in Japan to visit, and avoid.

I can keep going on and on but to sum up my feelings about my experience it's as if I just stayed with a couple of very helpful friends.

I cannot more highly recommend these folks for a homestay experience in Japan.
