With the village strategically situated on the Route of the Cisters, and the public rambling route GR Saint James' Track passing in front of the house, giving easy access to the 3 famous historic monasteries, Santes Creus, historically fascinating, Vallbona de les Monges, quaint and still functionning, and Poblet, beautiful and much-appreciated .
As well and interesting visits, you can go horse-riding nearby (18€/h) there is a luxury spa thalasso centre, with our cheaper entries, 15€/2hours, guaranteed to make you feel renewed, and apart from showing you local walks or bike rides, we can guide you on the excellent local restaurants, excellent gastronomy and cheap during the week (10-13€ all-inc.), more at weekends.
This being a mountain-top village, there are unparallelled views over the wide valley of the Conca de Barberà right the way down to the sea 50kms away, and from behind the village we see the whole long chain of the Pyrenees, covered in snow except in summer. So apart from a walk up to the top part of the village for the views and to visit the 1000-year-old Romanic church and wander round the old village, or taking a walk in the local countryside to visit the ancient spring or to pick aromatic plants, there many interesting visits to be made locally.

The great advantage of staying up in our village and not down in the humid sweltering heat of the coast in summer, is that although it may be as hot outside as the coast on a very sunny day, in the evening there is a delicious freshness, when one can open the windows and let the cool into the house, keeping them closed during the day, as the very thick s stone walls of the house keep a steady temperature of 23-23ºC in summer and with the heating on the rest of the year at a steady 18-20º. There is internet via wi-fi.
We are vegetarians, except we do eat fish (which is delicious in restaurants around here). If you cannot do without meat, we don't mind you keeping some sausage or ham in the fridge in your kitchen, Your past of the house is for is for you to feel completely at home in. Non-smoking house
And in general, all that is consideration for others to share the same building. We take via this website initially € 80 deposit, which is returned after you return the keys, having found the towels, bedding, etc., with no loss or damage. Damages will be charged at a commercial rate, as it is very expensive to get work done in this isolated area. As guests have the entire floor to your own enjoyment, there is a charge of 30 € for final cleaning, unless all guests leave it reasonably clean. Reasonably clean means that afterwards it will only take about an hour or so to make it perfect before other guests can arrive. If it needs many hours cleaning, a cleaning lady will have to come, which costs 30 €.
The staircase is rather high, so to avoid problems, any child 7years or less must be escorted in and out, up and down the staircase. We need you to sign that we have warned you to take care on the staircase, and when opening the front door, which is heavy, for insurance purposes. We can send you that beforehand.
For those with mobility problems, there is a bedroom on the ground floor near the door, with a bunk bed, and its own luxury bathroom.

¿Cómo se hace una reserva?
Ponte en contacto con el anfitrión para comprobar su disponibilidad y preguntar todo lo necesario sobre la estancia. Una vez que el anfitrión confirme que está disponible para esas fechas, podrás confirmar la reserva.
¿Cuándo se realiza el pago?
Una vez que el anfitrión confirma que está disponible, podrás pagar el% en concepto de comisión 15% (máximo de 250 $£€ para reservas de larga duración) y un depósito del 25% mediante: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB y PayPal. El depósito se cobra por adelantado en nombre del anfitrión para protegerse cuando el huésped no se presenta o cuando hay cancelaciones de última hora (dentro de los 7 días antes de la fecha de llegada). El resto de la cantidad, se le pagará al anfitrión en la fecha de llegada. El pago del 25% del depósito al anfitrión se realizará el segundo día hábil después de la fecha de llegada confirmada en la reserva. Este depósito sólo será reembolsado si se cancela la reserva al menos 7 días completos antes de la fecha de llegada.
¿Cuándo se publican los datos de contacto?
Las direcciones de email, los números de teléfono y la dirección postal del anfitrión y del huésped aparecerán reflejados en el email de confirmación que se les enviará a ambos inmediatamente después de la confirmación de la reserva. El intercambio de datos de contacto personales entre los anfitriones y los huéspedes a través de los mensajes que se envían a través de nuestra plataforma, va en contra de nuestra política.
