  Gerardo was really fantastic guest! From the first evening meal together, we felt like we have found that cousin of us we did not see for a while. He blended so easily in our family, creating strong bonds not only with us but also with another Homestay guest we were hosting. Always helpful, keeping his room and bathroom super tidy and clean. We had very profound conversations in English and surprisingly Gerardo was also able to understand and even talk in French! Evening meals and conversations around the meal while watching fireflies all around us are simply unforgettable. We watched movies together and spend as much time as possible in each other’s company. We learned so many things about Mexico and we hope to meet again in Canada or in Mexico soon !!!
