Hosting Luke was a mixed experience. He was polite and respectful, and apologised for the arrival transport situation which was somewhat chaotic, and made amends by offering slightly more money than asked for for the lift he was given. This was kind.
My specific gripes were...
He had to be reminded that check out time was 11a.m.
He left a plastic bottle in the garden.
He tipped what looked like a cup of coffee into the waste bin, which then needed washing out.
He smoked on the property (in the garden) when he was specifically asked not to.
Otherwise, there were no problems, and he was quiet, polite and well mannered.
