I have to inform Homestay and everybody that unfortunately that place is absolutely not in the mood for a home stay. Already by email that person was answering in a very short way without any kind words And day of my arrival, it was very, very hot in Japan as following days too. If finally I could find the house it's thanks to a so kind woman who offered to drive me, and even with navigation, by car it was not easy to find the house. So of course when I arrived more than one hour later, I was so exhausted but no warm welcome, no smile. I didn't speak in a rude way (as she wrote in an unfair way) but in a disappointed way, explaining what happened to me. No sorry, nothing. in the afternoon when I wanted to leave and go to my appointment with friends, I asked her to help to find the right way to go to the station. She did but by walking so speed by very short ways that I could remind thanks only to pictures I took. Again no caring about a possible trouble to not find my way by night when I will come back. If I didn't take pictures I should again be lost in the night. And it was just the beginning. Touristical information only in japanese (even I understand a little bit). The house was not well clean (hair in the bedroom, in the bathroom), in the bedroom, very old towels, very basic plastic chair and table with dirty paper as cover, dirty small garbage bag, noisy fan, no right to use A/C except if we pay extra charge, no cold water to drink, I had always to ask for. The door of bedroom can't be locked, one morning she came in without knocking ! Not enough paper in the toilet. She never requested about what I would like, if I needed anything. None "good morning" or "have a nice day" from her and her husband enclosed together with their 2 years old child in their main room with A/C and closed doors where I could never go. So it's really lying that to write on Homestay :"I like to discuss with guests (…)I like to meet new people from different countries." . The price is not expensive but we are very far from Tokyo. And not expensive doesn't mean that we don't care about guests. I would prefer to pay more and to have a Japanese host that I know the high level of polite and kind manners. Really I was happy to leave that bad mood house which is so opposite at japanese way of life and so opposite at Homestay philosophy.

The host cancelled the booking 73 days before the arrival date.

Am & Tip m'ont offert un accueil très chaleureux dans une très jolie et spacieuse maison pleine de sérénité !! Toujours disponibles pour me déposer ou venir me chercher près de chez elles et très à l'écoute de toute demande. Curieuses aussi, nous sommes allées ensemble à BAN BU qu'elles ne connaissaient pas. C'était super de rencontrer de si agréables personnes !
