The casa is very well located in a lively and charcteristic neighbpurhood of Havana. We met many of teh neighbpurs which where nice and open for a talk and maybe a drink. The Building itself has a very charming appeal and rooms are comfortable with proper sanitary equipment (the right amount of water pressure in the show for example was something I appreciated after a few weeks of drops ;) The family is very friendly and is helping their guests whererver they can. They helped us organize our way to the airport and offered that we could leave our things with them to explore the city until we had to leave. The roof terrace also makes a nice scenery for a breakfast or a drink at night :)

Staying at Maria Elenas Casa in Playa Larga was the highlight of my vacation in Cuba. The Casa is a beauty itself with very nice and comfortable rooms and the family who runs the place is heartwarmingly friendly and welcoming. Right away from entering the casa we felt at home and were treated like members of the family. The Casa is located in a very quiet part of the town, so it is perfect for those who seek to kick back and listen to the sounds of nature, rather than that of cars or blasting speakerboxes. And if you decide to get some action, you're just a ten minute walk from the town itself. The first night we decided to dine in a little restaurant in the town, but after we tried MAria Elenas kitches the next night, we didn't go anywhere else for food anymore :) The dishes are plenty and taste delicious! Another benefit of staying at Marias Hostal is, that the casa is located very close to the beach. While the beach in the centre on Playa larga has a backline of casas and bars the beach close to Marias Casa is more quiet and natural. Also some of the tourists seem to prefere this atmosphere, as they take the extra mile walking from the town centre (where most other casas are located) to come down to this stretch of sand. Maria helps her guests in any way possible, so whenever we needed information or a helping hand, she was there right away! I enjoyed the time there and wouldn't hestitate a second to book again.

Anas Casa is very well located just in the heart of Trinidad with short distances to all sights in the city. The rooms are quite big and in a good shape. A remarkable thing was the balconies and the rooftop terrace which made our stay even more comfortable. Ana and her husband Raul (who makes a pretty nice Omelette!! :) are very friendly and helpful. We had to leave Trinidad kind of in a rush and Ana did all she could to help us organising and contacting trasnports/accomodations. Muchas Gracias :)

Staying with Amanda and her Family was a pleasure from the moment we arrived to our Goodbye. The Casa is located just two blocks off the main road of Vinales. Over there it is more quiet than at the main road, but you're still just a few minutes walking from all Bars and restaurants. But staying at Amandas casa you rather forget about the latter (the restaurants ;), because her cooking can compete with any of the (rather touristy) restaurants around (The only other restaurant I would recommend was "Los Cardoso", which is just a few steps away from the casa) The Rooms in the Casa are very comfortable and in very good shape. There's also a nice porch to relax and chill with the family members who are all very friendly and communicative. Our every wish was regarded right away and Amanda and her family helped us whereever possible. Last but not least this casa is one of the very few in cuba that has an internet connection. So you don't have to run to the parks if you want to go online :) Would love to stay there again. Thanks for everything :)
