Lovely stay with Sonia and her family in Birkirkara. Five hearts to all four members of Sonia's family, their spotless house in good location and homey breakfasts.

On our second trip to Havana after 16 years, we wanted to experience "the real Cuba." We decided on our points of interests, did our research, and Pavel's casa particulaire proved to meet our needs. After exchanging a few emails with Pavel, in which he promptly answered all of our questions, we knew that booking his centrally-located casa in Havana was the right choice for our stay. Pavel, his wife Maria, and her nephew Xavier were very hospitable and extremely helpful. Our days started with a big delicious breakfast, prepared by Pavel and his family. Pavel's taxi service was also very convenient. We used it for our airport pickup/drop off, to be driven around Havana to the Hemingway Museum, and for one unforgettable day trip to Vinales Valley.
