Probably more suitable for students/ if you are out early till very late, we found it to be 2 or 2-1/2 stars - one twin room bed was up against the radiator, not ideal when the heat is on, no hot water unless the central heating is on, cold tap in the downstairs loo not working, shower a bit of a dibble. This room isn't great if you are a light sleeper - as the stairs & floors creak & you can hear the tv in the family living room TV (probably not a problem upstairs) plus the front door gets banged a lot early in the morning. The kitchen was great & I appreciated being able to use it a little bit, but it was a bit awkward going in as you have to go through the family's living room while the tv is on. Barbara warmed up a bit at the end. I would try homestay elsewhere but more likely to try B&B options.
