This is a NEW cozy private accommodation in the very heart of historic town of Havana. From this apt you can visit every point of interest just walking. Here you will find the most renowned Restaurants, Bars, Arts Museum and Beaches just 20 min away. Since 1559, Plaza Vieja has been Havana’s most architecturally eclectic square. Showcasing styles ranging from Cuban baroque to Gaudí-inspired Art Nouveau. Today, it is home to several splendid bars, restaurants and coffee shops.
We are just two blocks away from Plaza Vieja, place recognized as the heart of Havana and historic heritage. Here you will find many interesting places such as The Cathedral of Habana, The Castle of Morro, Castle of Royal Force, La Plaza de Armas, Plaza de San Francisco, The Capitol of Habana and also the renowned restaurant La Bodeguita del Medio, El Floridita, The Rum Palace, Partagas Cigars Factory. Everything is located walkable distance. Just 15 minutes away you will find the beautiful beaches of Habana, there you will find sun, music and fun.

Great host, Carlos helped us with anything we needed, he was very informative and left a phone in the apartment so we could get hold of him when ever we needed. The location is perfect and the accommodation was clean and modern with air con rooms. HIGHLY recommended.

Hi Carlos, it has been a year yes and I do apologise for not writing my review sooner. But as we say here in Barbados better late than never.
I HIGHLY recommend this homestay. It was clean, had extremely nice finishes and Carlos was always available to assist with anything. His parents made me breakfast every morning and it was great; wonderful way to start off your day. Gracias mum and dad.
My only complaint was that the room did not have a TV or a radio. It was known ahead of my trip there will be no TV but it was confirmed that there would be a radio. I like to listen to the radio before I go to bed, so this was a downer for me.

We had a terrific stay with Carlos at the Mercedes B&B ! Carlos was an amazing host and property manager and concierge -- all wrapped in one. He continually made sure that our trip went smoothly. Carlos was able to connect us with drivers and guides for both local events in Havana, as well as sight-seeing outside of the city. The fresh, newly designed interior was beautifully done -- very impressive. Thank you Carlos for a great experience while we were in Havana ! Alexandra and Victoria

Carlos is a great host. Very helpful & full of good advice about Havana. Wouldn't hesitate to stay with him again or to recommend him for future guests. The room itself is amazing, probably the most high spec appartment in Havana, loved it!!!

Il soggiorno è stato piacevole,Carlos è molto ospitale e disponibile a soddisfare gli ospiti il più possibile. L'appartamento si trova in una strada decadente,anche se nel cuore di Habana Vieja,a due passi da Plaza Vieja.Purtroppo non era ancora del tutto pronto,visto che mancavano tavolo e sedie,comodini e specchio.

Great location. Spacious bathroom. All very clean. Room for 2 really good. For 3 a little small. But was more than ok for us.

Es war rundum ein gelungener Aufenthalt.
Der Transfer, welcher uns Carlos für 30 CUC organisiert, hat ausgezeichnet geklappt.
Wir wurden im Casa herzlich empfangen und uns wurde alles gut erklärt.
Am nächsten morgen hatten wir ein Treffen mit Carlos.
Er hat uns auf einer Stadtkarte erklärt , wie man am Besten die Altstadt besichtigt.(Rundweg)
War einfach perfekt. Carlos hat uns für den zweiten Morgen für 5 CUC p.P. ein Frühstück angeboten, welches wir auch annahmen. Es war unglaublich, was aufgetischt wurde von dem Paar welches uns bewirtete.
Das Zimmer war genügend gross und sauber . Ein Safe und ein Kühlschrank mit Mineralwasser gab es auch im Zimmer.février 2018
Our stay in Carlos CP was really excellent! He helped us as much as he can. He offered us great programs and superb place where we can eat (give us map as well), managed to go to Vinales, reserved taxi for us (from the airport, and to Viazul station). His apartment is really nice and cosy with perfect location in the old city center. Near the house there are lovely bars, restaurant, cafe. His hospitality was the best choice in Havana! Give us a phone so we can talk when we had a question. There are wifi connection near the Plaza Viajea if you need. We recommend these rooms. Thanks Carlos!
