Hi, I registered at homestay to get in touch with local people but don't use Couchsurfing anymore after some bad experiences with my hosts. Homestay was recommended to me and I'm happy to pay my stay for a serious place to have a nice holiday. I'm very interested in the culture of the countries I'm visiting, this is often my main motivation even before breath-taking monuments etc I really want to get in contact with locals as much as possible. I visited many countries, mostly with hostels or Couchsurfing, like Australia, New Zealand, India, Nepal, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, also lots of European countries and others. My friends describe me as discreet and respectful, open-minded and always interested in foreign countries and cultures. Small note about my life at home in Germany, I work in an online company and in my free time I play the cello, also in an orchestra, besides cello, I love reading and in summer time riding my bike in the beautiful nature around my hometown Berlin. It was my pleasure hosting Heike. She respected my house rules.she Kept the room so clean and tidy. On top of that she was super friendly and I enjoyed communicating with her! I highly recommend her as a guest and would gladly host her again.
