Our French chalet is set in the stunning Chartreuse National Park. Our home is in a pretty hamlet a short cycle ride from two towns where you can find amenities such as bakeries, butchers, banks, cafés and Supermarkets.
Our staying guests have always been amazed by the gorgeous view of the mountain range and woodland that surround our home. It is the ideal spot for keen hikers who can explore the countryside simply stepping out of the front gate onto walking paths or taking a short car journey into the mountains or to the nearby lakes.
The location is the perfect mix of tranquility and beauty but also being a 30 minute drive to the cities of Grenoble and Chambery.

If you are looking to relax and totally unwind this place is ideal.

About the Area

We are 5 minutes drive from the small towns of Entre Deux Guiers and Saint Laurent du Pont. Visitors wanting to ski during the winter months can visit St Pierre de Chartreuse ski resort 15 minutes drive from our house. Lac d’Aiguebelette is 20 minutes drive and our nearest airports are in Chambery (20mins), Grenoble, Lyon and Geneva. There is a good train service to Pont de Beauvoisin which is 12 minutes drive from the chalet.

House Rules

Strict no smoking rule and we will not accept guests who ask to smoke anywhere within the property grounds.

No pets permitted to stay

As we live in the house we don’t tolerate disruptive noise levels past 11pm. Please be considerate.

All payments for bookings must be paid in advance using PayPal. Our cancellation policy is flexible given at least 7 days notice and full refund will be processed. If cancelling within 7 days of the arrival date 100% of the full payment will be retained.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
