Das waren die besten zwei Wochen meines Lebens !
Sehr empfehlenswert !June 2016
I stayed and Marion and Torsten's home for 7 days in June 2016. They live in a quiet village I about 30 minutes travel from Nuremberg and Roth. The room was large, very clean with comfortable bed and tv. I had a bathroom to my exclusive use. Torsten kindly picked me up from the airport upon my arrival.
Every evening I had dinner with the family prepared from scratch by the hosts. I enjoyed traditional local dishes very much. Marion and Torsten checked every day if I needed anything else. I felt very welcomed at their home and had fantastic time. We spent many hours talking and sometimes watching football as well.
Access to Nuremberg was easy and it was very nice to come back to this quiet village after busy day spent in the city. Unfortunately bad weather didn't allow me to do any evening walks which is shame because the forest nearby was really inviting.September 2014
Marion and Torsten were so kind to me and her cookings were very delicious, then why don't you decide to stay their home? They kindly spent time with me with eating and talking, that was more than expected. Also, their son is very cute! I went there by car, so I could drive around Germany. It is a good option for you to rent a car, if you want to visit some cities around there.

I had a very happy stay with Marion, Torsten and Konstantin. Schwanstetten is a very pleasant area with interesting local shops and there is a bus service to small villages nearby. Nuremberg is about 45 minutes away, but it is easy to get to.
There is a walk from the house through a woodland to get to the town hall of Schwand with a lake and cafes. Marion met me at Nuremberg station and I immediately felt as ease with her. Marion gave me local maps and printed out bus timetables and explained how I could get to other places near Schwanstetten.
One of these townships was Schwabach which is just a short bus journey away. Marion and Torstens house and garden is beautiful and Marion is a really good cook. Konstantin is a friendly and happy little boy and besides meeting my host family I also met Marions parents. I practiced German the six days I was there, which was why I wanted to stay with a host family.
On my last morning I was treated to a special German breakfast with all the family, before leaving from Nuremberg to travel to London. I plan to keep in touch and hope to meet them all again on my next trip to Europe.January 2013
It was my first trip to Germany and first homestaybooking, so I worried a little until I
met them, but I didn't need to do! It was so fantastic days! Nurembeg is charming city, and I went to''Chrismatkindlesmarkt''. It is very famous and Nuremberg's is the one of biggest Chrismatkindlesmarkt. It was amazing! Torsten and Marion were so kind to me. I stayed at a very clean and comfortable room in their home. My English was poor, but Marion could understand it. She is very very good at cooking, so I was very happy to have her great dinner. At dinner times, I talked a lot with her and Torsten. They told me about Germany, so I was starting to be interested in Germany more and more! Their son is so pretty! I have too many lovely memories with them, so I can't write everything! I miss them! I will never forget that days! Torsten, Marion and Konstantin, Thank you very much!! x-D I'm looking forward to meeting you again>3October 2012
Torsten and Marion were very friendly and really made me feel welcome during my stay at their home. The area that they live in is quiet and peaceful and there are areas of countryside nearby that you can walk in. The city of Nuremberg is near to their home and there are a number of places that are interesting to visit there particularly in the old town. Overall, I had a fantastic time staying with Torsten and Marion and would strongly recommend other people to stay with them as well
