My husband and I our dog and some cats live in the middle of northen Crete,in "Rodialos" villa,perfecture of Rethymnon near the village Panormos.The house is located in a field where we cultivate our organic products and looks at the cretan sea.In fact it's on a rocky shore over the sea where we use to swim too and the view is just wonderful!Especially during the sunset and the sunrise.We have an independent apartment with two bedrooms a small kitchen and a marbled bath where a familly of four or less can stay. We have two more bedrooms-one en suite another bathroom (3 baths in total)a large kitchen fully equiped dining and living room patio verandas. washing room parking place.The village of Panormos is 10 minuites far on foot and the town of Rethymnon 18km to the west if you feel that the quite and peacfull life in cretan unique and so rich nature has to change from time to time into an exciting night life.For winter guests, there is central heating,home cinema and good music from time to time we organize cultural events in the small thetre place of the patio.We also run an alternative program of tourism "Cretan cuisine with organic products"for those who are interested to learn the secrets of the real taste of Crete and to enjoy the healthiest cook of the world

About the Area
Our House is located on a rocky shore 1000 m far from Panormos to the west, under the Main Road and upon the sea.It's built in the middle of a field with vineyard,vegetable and fruit garden.We use to swim and fish right under the house and we plan to make a pool as we grow old and we need it.We cultivate organic products and we provide our own oil,wine and spirit. No other buildings are near us but walking to the village for shopping or having dinner in very good tavernas is a 10 minuites pleasent walk.There is a bus stop on the main road near the house and another in the village.The nearest international airport is in Heraklion 60 km away. Another airport is in Chanea 70km away base of Ryanair.All towns of Crete have ports and daily ferries to Piraeous and other islands.The nearest town is Rethymnon with touristic interest and good night life (18 km far to the west).Around the area there are many interesting and picturesque villages among old olive groves and the nature around us is unique.Especially for bird watchers and herb lovers.Crete is known for it's rare herbs...In Panormon there are places to rent a car or to catch the "little train" for excursions around

Ahead of our holiday Mary answered any questions within 24 hours. We arrived mid afternoon out of season with nothing open in the village until later in thd evening, so Mary had a lovely late lunch waiting for us accompanied with wine made by Kostas, her husband. Mary provides an incredibly generous/typical Cretan breakfast with a different theme every day. The bedroom and the other space in her house available to guests is gorgeous. She has great suggestions for where to go, but make sure to spend a day simply relaxing on the cliff at the end of the garden. She is very patient if you are a beginner speaking Greek. Very kind with a big heart.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
