About the Homestay
Welcome to Hong Kong and to our house. We live in the New Territories and in the country park area. Green, quiet and fresh air are the beautiful things to us. We have a garden growing organic food to serve our guests when available.
We both lived in other countries for a number of years, so we speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. My wife is working at home and can help our guests when needed.
I cook for my family almost everyday since I was eight years old. I am the main home chef to prepare food for you. My wife will also cook when I am unavailable. I hope my food will bring you health and happiness.
We hope that you would enjoy staying with us. You can take one of the two rooms and use kitchen (fridge, stove, oven) and living area on your own, or share with other guests. Each room has a private bathroom, and there's a laundry room next to the kitchen. We can host up to 6 persons if you have a larger group. When our guests come, my family will stay in another house next door.
You can take bus and train and go to most part of the city in an hour, or you can get rides with us if schedule allows.

About the Area
Our village house is located in the north-eastern side of the New Territories. Our area is very quiet with mountains and hiking trails nearby. It takes about 30 minutes drive to Fanling MTR Station, around 1 hour and twenty minutes to the airport and more than 1 hour to city.

2. House to Bus station - 20 mins. walk.
3. Pickup fee at Hong Kong airport is USD50.00
4. Pickup fee at near MTR station is USD15.00
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
