About the Homestay

We are christian homestay parents who are eager to connect with others. We have two children, both of whom study abroad and also live with their homestay families. Our beautiful and spacious apartment is located in the busiest center of Hong Kong in Prince Edward and Mong Kok, but we assure you that it is a neat and quiet space.
Private bedroom 1 includes a bed, desk, desk chair, air conditioning, and closet.
Private bedroom 2 includes a bed, bedside table, a bookshelf, air conditioning, and a closet.
WIFI internet network and basic usage of utilities are included!
You will have to buy your own food ingredients for the meals, but the kitchen is open for use, and please make sure to clean up afterwards. If you would prefer meals to be included, an additional HKD100 will be charged per day.
Airport pickup can be arranged upon request!
Gym passes can be offered if you are staying for more than one month at no charge.

About the Area
The bus stop is only 3 minutes away. MTR railway station is located 15 minutes walk away but can be reached by bus at the bus stop as mentioned above. Our location in the heart of the city makes it easy to travel conveniently to all of the major districts in Hong Kong.
Our apartment is close to shops, theatres, hospitals, parks, basketball courts, restaurants, shopping malls, public transit, schools, etc.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Welcome to our home. We are very glad that you are here. We want to make your stay as positive and as comfortable as possible. Here are some guidelines and expectations for your stay.
House Key
• Please ask for a house key if we fail to give you one upon arrival
Meals
• No meal plan: Your fee does not include provision for all three meals. The kitchen is open for use and you will be responsible for purchasing the ingredients and cleaning it up after use.
• Meal plan: If you prefer to have meals provided, we will be charging an extra HKD100 per day. If there are some foods that you prefer or would like to have in the house, please let us know and we will try to accommodate your request. Please let us know if you like or don’t like any of the meals that you are being served.
Internet, TV, Phone, Printer
• Wireless Internet service is included in your fee and is usually excellent.
• You are responsible to have your own telephone.
• You are welcome to use the printer. If you have many copies that you need, please talk to us and we can help you.
Kitchen
• Please feel free to help yourself anytime to food or drink. There is food in the refrigerator and the pantry in the kitchen.
• After eating, please scrape your dishes into the garbage, rinse, and place in the drying rack.
• There is a bin for recycling for plastic, paper and metal. Please remove any lids before placing items in the recycle bin.
Bedroom
• You are responsible for the cleanliness of your room. The vacuum cleaner is available anytime you would like to use it.
• Let us know if your room is too cold or too hot. We can provide fans or heaters for your room if you need it.
• You are responsible for washing the bed sheets and bath towels.
Bathroom
• Please make sure the hair catcher is left on the drain.
• Bathroom tissue will be provided and you are responsible for your own personal care items such as shampoo and conditioner.
• Please hang your bath towel in your room and leave a hand towel on bar in bathroom.
Laundry
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the days set aside for Homestay students to use the laundry machines. If for some reason you need to use the washer on another day, please check with us to make sure it is available.
• You can use the detergent provided.
Other
• Please feel free to invite friends for supper but let us know before so that we can make enough food.
• Please do not smoke in the house or bring alcohol into the house. Thank you.

Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
