Five bedroom Victorian style bungalow in the midst of forests on the southern edge of Core Critical Tiger Habitat of Corbett Tiger Reserve. Wrap around verandahs of the three guest bedrooms provide ample opportunities to observe the sights & sounds of wilderness. It is just half an hour walk to Bijrani forest rest hose. Two bedrooms are used by the family, consisting of Imran's wife Kahkashan, who looks after the kitchen, menu and cuisines besides housekeeping, and his 16 year old daughter Khadeeja, who interacts with guests besides helping them while dinning or the use of Internet. An organic vegetable kitchen garden on the eastern & northern sides. A lower ridge of Shivalik hills ascends from about 15m from the bungalow. A perennial water canal flows on the back of the house adds to the multiple habitats for great bird watching adjoining the Bungalow. A small 10-15 households Kumaoni village offers opportunities for cultural interaction. Nearby weekly village market adds more flavour to the whole experience
Additional Info
I speak four languages including English while my daughter speaks english & hindustani. My wife is a simple housewife and speaks hindustani Urdu. We have ample space for parking and also grow our own organic vegetables. There is space and food for the drivers and maids at a nominal cost. Also the lodge provides ample opportunities for walking safaris for a more authentic wilderness experience.

About the Area
The Ranger's Lodge is located on the southern edge of Corbett's Core critical tiger habitat amidst the forests of Bijrani Tourism zone. It is just 4km from Ramnagar Railway station & township. Asmall 10 households village of Malla kaniya exist nearby. There is a perennial water canal on the backside giving rise to an interesting forest-village-canal- orchard edge for better opportunities for bird watching and animal sightings from the wrap around verandahs of guest bed rooms.

House Rules
No house rules as such but since we are located right in the forests, we discourage loud music and encourage timely consumption of meals. It is always better if the guests show their preference of liquour types, which can be easily arranged on prior notice or they can bring their own. Please feel at home while using the kitchen and we prefer to learn more cuisines from our guests while my wife loves giving lessons on authentic Indian curries

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
