i have a 3 bedroom house in the centre of the town in a small private estate. I have 2 spare bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and the other has a double bed. Main bathroom is next to both rooms.

About the Area
My house is situated in the centre of Elphin in a small private estate. Carrick on shannon is 15 mins away, longford is 30 mins away and Roscommon town is 30 mins away and Athlone is one hour away. Lough key forest park is less than half hour away. There is a train station 15 mins in Carrick on shannon and main bust to Westport stops in Strokestown which is 10 mins away.

We have felt like at home. Ann is such a kind and nice person. I strongly recommend her place. It is so clean, tidy, cozy and comfortable. A very pleasant stay in all aspects. I hope we will meet Ann again. Our best wishes for her from Ana and family.

Ann's house is a real home also for travelers. The house is nice and very clean and Ann is a full-hearted host. We talked with her a lot. She is very helpful to solve the problems a traveler might face with. I can recommend her house to everyone.

We loved staying with Ann. It was very nerve-wrecking to stay at a homestay with two young children but she always made us feel very welcomed. She was very helpful with providing tips about Ireland and has a very friendly disposition. It felt very much like home away from home! Thank you Ann!!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
