About the Homestay
Our family lives in a four bedroomed house between a west cork town called Skibbereen and a cute little village called Ballydehob. We are walking distance from the water and only 5 minutes drive to Ballydehob and 10 minutes from the lively little town of Skibbereen. Where you will find some lovely craft shops and restaurants, pubs and cafes. The scenery in West Cork is so incredible and quite hard to beat, with veiws of the mountains, sea and forestry. The road we are on is a very quiet road where hardly any cars go by just a few, people like to ride their horses on our road as it is quiet. The house is around 12 years old and has four bedrooms and a main bathroom, 2 ensuites and a downstairs toilet so no queuing for the toilet! We have a lovely open plan kitchen/dining area with a lovely sunny conservatory leading off it. The sitting room is very big and spacious with windows all around. In the summer we enjoy many bbqs and have a lovely patio area to sit and enjoy alfresco meals. We have two lovely children aged 5 and 8 and no pets. I am an interior designer and specialise in up cycling old and used furniture of which I have a lot of in my own home. I love cooking and experimenting with new recipes. We are very hospitable and warm and look forward to hearing from you
