I always had a dream of living in nature surrounded by olive trees and green hills after since I saw a photo of a property in Umbria. I bought the property in 2002 and since then I have been patiently restoring it and have turned it into an eco retreat for guests. I live here most of the year except when I am away for cooking and wine events in Germany and Denmark. My children are in Germany in school now and visit during the holidays. I am here with my aging Labrador, almost 14 years now and love to have guests visit. The cottage is available for people to stay when I am here and when I am away. I have a house keeper and a gardener available all the time. The cottage was an old tobacco tower used for drying and storing the tobacco at the turn of the early 20th century. There are two bedrooms each with their own bathrooms plus a kitchen/dining area and a living area. There is a pergola attached to the cottage and a barbecue next to it, There is a swimming pool of 17 meters and a studio for yoga/pilates available for use.
