I live in Kachidoki town that is safe and quiet with my wife at this point. Easy walking distance to Tsukiji fish market, Kabuki theater, Ginza, Imperial Palace. The nearest metro station from our apartment is Kachidoki station(OEDO line), only a 1 minute walk from our apartment. We have very convenient transportation, from Kachidoki to Tokyo St.(15 min), Shinjuku(23 min), Shibuya(25 min), Asakusa (23 min), Haneda airport (30 min), Natita airport(1h 40min - depends on transportation).
There are supermarket, pharmacy, 24 hours opened convenient store, restaurant and cafe, post office very nearby our apartment.
We offer 1 comfortably furnished room. Amenities includes wifi, closet, towel, hair dryer, etc. We offer light breakfast, not lunch nor dinner.

About the Area
Our home is located in Kachidoki city, its close to Ginza, Oaiba, Tsukiji fish market.
It takes 3-5 minutes walk from supermarket, post office, cafe, restaurant etc... it's very convenient city.
Kachidoki station is OEDO line (Toei Subway), it also accessible for any place.

This could not have been a better place to start my Japanese journey. Masa and Arata were a delight. They were kind, supportive and fun. I had a few difficulties and Masa made sure things were sorted and showed me to the place to meet my tour. Arata plotted my way around the transport system making the going so much easier. They made you feel at home and I learnt a lot about Japan. Arata taught me sushi and was a wonderful hostess. My heartfelt thanks .You were the gold thread in my journey.

Masahiko kindly met us at the station on our arrival. After settling in we enjoyed a welcome meal prepared by his wife. The flat is well situated for access to local shops and other parts of Tokyo. It is however better suited for single occupancy. We really appreciated Mrs Futamura going out of her way to take us right to the Tokyo JR station platform for our return flight.

I had a very pleasant stay with Masahiko and his wife. Their appartment is close to subway, restaurants, shopping facilities and the old Tsukiji fish market. Yet the place itself is very quiet, so you can definitely get a good night's sleep.
Masahiko and wife are also very friendly, so we had some interesting conversations about Japan and my own country, Denmark.
Much better than a hotel for sure - I can only recommend a stay with Masahiko and his wife.August 2016

J'ai passé un très bon séjour chez Masahiko et sa femme ! Tous deux sont très gentils, la nourriture était très bonne, la chambre spacieuse. Je retournerai chez eux si je devais revenir à Tokyo !

I stayed with Masahiko and Arata for 10 days and it was an amazing experience for my first Homestay and my first stay in Japan. They were really nice and made me feel welcomed in their house. Each morning Arata prepared for me a very good breakfast, I discovered different Japanese foods thanks to her ! They were the perfect hosts for me and I enjoyed talking with them :) Thank you for this stay !

J'ai reçu un bon accueil par Masahiko et sa femme Arata. De suite, ils m ont mis à l'aise et transmis beaucoup d'information. Je suis resté 10 nuits et tous les matins, j'ai eu un petit-déjeuner différent et bien aimé. J ai très apprécié le fait d'avoir tenu compte de mes préférences, merci beaucoup, arigato gozaimasu. Je garde vraiment un merveilleux moment de mon séjour chez Masa et Arata. Merci à vous d'avoir appris le français. L'appartement est très bien situé et très agréable-fonctionnel-propre. Je me suis senti comme chez moi, tellement j'étais bien. Ils m ont fait découvrir la culture du saké. J'adore maintenant boire le saké froid. J'espère vous revoir bientôt et encore merci pour votre gentillesse, sincérité, aide, échange culturel..... Je ne vous oublierai jamais. Arigato gozaimasu

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
