We had a very pleasant stay thanks to Rieko and Kunio who are really nice persons. Every morning we had breakfast with them and we have appreciated talking with them. They gave us advice about visiting Tokyo and helped us several times when we needed.
We cooked with them one evening, that was a very good dinner. We also wore kimonos and made photos.
We loved their traditional house and sleeping on futon.
If we go to Japan another time, we would like to see them again.
We highly recommend staying at Rieko and Kunio's house.
Reiko and Kunio are so welcoming and very accommodating. They do everything they can to help you enjoy your time in Tokyo and they always had suggestions for me when I had a question. If I ever make it back to Tokyo I'd definitely love to stay with them again!
I had a very good stay at Rieko and Kunio's home. They were wery kind and welcoming. Lovely persons. I felt at home. It was the best choice to make to stay with them. They made delicious breakfast everyday and we enjoyed a takoyaki party one evening and a delicious dinner for my last night. I enjoyed talking and watching TV with them and the other guests. Thank you si much, and I hope to see you again some day.
Rieko and Kunio made our stay memorable. We felt warmly welcome in Japan. The room was clean, spacious and comfy, the meals were delicious, but the best thing was the time spending chatting together. They helped us with any question and were so fun talking with. When we left, we felt like we had a real home in Tokyo. Thank you so much!

Had an absolutely wonderful time with Rieko San and Kunio San, my only regret was not staying for a longer time!
As someone who is learning Japanese it was great to have conversations in Japanese daily and find out all sorts of stuff about Japan from a local perspective. They're really friendly and great people to spend time with. Their English is also very good in case communication concerns you.
Would recommend spending a couple of weeks with them at least so you'll have time to cook meals together and go to the onsen. Can't wait to spend time with them again :)
Our Homestay experience was Great!
Our room had a traditional design, looked great and was clean just like the rest of the house. Rieko and Kunio were super friendly, they speak English very well and it was a lot of fun to talk to them. The breakfast was always very tasty and the Dinner was delicious as well! On the last day, they took us to an Onsen in Nermina which was a great experience. Overall the Homestay was awesome, we had a great time with Rieko and Kunio and can recommend them to everybody wanting to stay in the Area. We hope to meet them again sometime.
Rieko and Kunio were so nice and welcoming, our stay in their house was really great. Their house is charming. They offer us good breakfasts that was different every days, also the possibility to cook together the dinner and eat with them for 700 yens, which is a really reasonable price because it was excellent and I really look forward to try to do it again by myself. But most of all it was really pleasant to spend time with them. Rieko really took the time to speak with me and helped me improving my japanese, and also discussed in english with my boyfriend who can't understand well japanese. Her english is very good by the way. They also let us watch TV and took us to an onsen that was really nice, and invited us to a lovely local matsuri where they played music.
I am so grateful for that stay, and I hope have one day the opportunity to see them again !
Rieko & Kunio are sweet people. It was nice staying with them. Both are very kind and helpful if there were any questions about everything. It was very easy to talk english with them. We visited an Onsen together and they let me wear a Kimono from many I could chose. The room I had for myself was wonderful. I loved it that it was a traditional japanese one. So if your looking for something like this, than this is the place!
All in all a perfect week. And when I come back to Japan someday and have a stop in Tokyo I would always prefer to stay with them ´･ᴗ･`
If youre about to visit Tokyo i recommend you to stay there! They are very nice, friendly & help you where they can. From inviting you in a onsen to going out to a bar for a drink. It’s about 300 meter to the nerima station, so youre alway got a good connection. The next time i visit tokyo i will stay there for sure!
