It was such a comfortable stay. Though it was my first time to go to CDMX with limited Spanish speaking abilities, it wasn’t a problem because Fernanda and her family kindly speak easy Spanish and sometimes help me understand them by speaking English. I felt as if I was living there.

This place felt like home for us from the start. Our late time of arrival was no problem and they were there for us at any moment. Good to mention is that we experienced this as an Airbnb rather than a homestay. No bad thing, but another experience if you are looking for that. Apartment has everything you need to make yourself comfortable and in a quite and popular neighbourhood. Fair price - quality so to say. Highly recommended! Thanks family

Fernanda is a home stay pro! Super-hospitable and helpful, and her accommodations are lovely. The neighbourhood is charming, with easy access to one of the main subway lines. I had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning! Muchisimas gracias, Fernanda y Joaquin! XO

My stay with Fernanda and her family was absolutely wonderful. Fernanda responded quickly to any question or concern, and from my first day there I was made to feel comfortable and welcome in their beautiful home. Fernanda and her parter showed me to the local market and gave me a ton of recommendations of things to do in the city. We shared varios meals, many stories, and even music! The next time I come to Mexico City I know exactly where I’ll be staying!

What an incredible house! I traveled to Mexico without knowing anyone and right off the bat Fernanda brought me to the marketplace and showed me around the neighborhood day one. There were also 3 other wonderful travelers living there and, despite not knowing any Spanish, they all invited me to eat dinner, drink mezcal, and talk in both English and Spanish.
One of the best parts of the house is the balance between privacy and a kind, easy going, social environment—if you want it. Usually in the evening, when everyone is finished working, some type of dinner or movie will be put on. Some days all four of us roommates would go downstairs to watch soccer and Fernanda's mother would cook food for us; however, if you need to work nothing social is required.
The location is very safe, the metro is only a 20-minute walk and often I did that walk at 1:00am without any concern for my safety. There is a very nice market only a 5-minute walk away and Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Mexico Tianguis (very very cheap place to buy produce) pop up 5 minutes away. There are many restaurants another 5-minute walk from the house. I joined a gym with the other 2 roommates, it was only a 10-minute walk to the gym.
The only thing that I have heard people complain about, which is true, is there isn't a nightlife in this neighborhood. You must go 10 minutes by car to downtown Coyoacan. I never had an issue with that, I did a fair share of going to bars on the weekend, but it was very nice coming home late to a quiet safe part of town (Uber/didi/cabify or metro is always a good option to get home).
If you are wondering about if the house is a great place to work from your computer, for what I know, two people have wrote and finished their thesis in this house and when I left another roommate was actively working on his. I stayed 5 months and during my stay paid month to month cash which was wonderful. Also, there’s an amazing maid who cleans your room 2 times a week—she is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met in all my life, well… along with Fernanda and her family!
Thank you so much for the wonderful place, I will never forget my stay here!

Brilliant, lovely accommodation, extremely welcoming, giving tips on where to go and what to do or not, nothing was too much, frankly better than family. Highly recommended and when I come back to Mexico will stay again hopefully, just like family, thank you Fernanda and your parents for the care you have given and looked after me, muchas gracias

I could not have had a more positive experience with Fernanda and her family in Mexico City! From the moment I stepped into their lovely home, I knew I was going to be well taken care of. Fernanda went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and despite all the complications with my travel plans, she was nothing but understanding. Their home is absolutely beautiful! I like the way it's set up because there was plenty of privacy but also communal areas where I got to know the other people who were staying in the house. Fernanda made herself very accessible and was always happy to give me suggestions for places to go and how to get around. She also made a point of checking in with me to make sure I was happy and comfortable which I really appreciated. The neighborhood is very nice - quiet but close to the metro and the trolebus stop. There is also an awesome market just a couple blocks away where I got all my groceries. Very ideal location! I cannot recommend this homestay enough. I really don't think it's possible to find a more caring, sweet host than Fernanda! Muchísimas gracias por todo! Tuve una experiencia increíble!!

Fernanda, Ara and Paco are amazing hosts. They are some of the most warm, caring and incredible people I have ever met. During the entirety of my stay they made me feel at home as if I was a member of the family. The house itself was beautiful, immaculate and spacious. It has a rooftop terrace where I could sip my morning coffee and enjoy the sounds of birds chirping. Additionally, the house was in a safe and quiet neighborhood conveniently close to the metro station. I will definitely return as soon as I can. Such a magnificent experience.
