Nice bedroom in modern and sunny apartment. A quiet location 10 min. from the old center by bike. Ideal for 2 adults. Comfortable private bedroom. Bathroom, kitchen and living room are shared with me.
The Space:
The apartment is favourably located in the "Wittenburg" district of Amsterdam center. A very quiet location with all the amenities and sights of the city around the corner.
The apartment is situated on the first floor of a small complex. Entrance hall with separate toilet and access to all rooms. The living room is spacious, the windows very bright and located on the sunny south. Overlooking greenery and with access to the balcony, where you can enjoy the sun. (If there is any in rainy Holland ;-))
The kitchen is both from the living room and the hall accessible. Equipped with all necessary appliances such as a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and oven / microwave combination.
The apartment has two bedrooms. Your room has a double bed. The bathroom has a shower and sink.

Feel welcome!
I travelled a lot and like meeting new people. I will have tons of tips on what to do in Amsterdam and will help you setup for a good time in the city (i.e. transportation card, etc…). Therefore I would like to avoid very early or very late arrivals, so I can give the necessary information.
Of course I will make sure you have enough privacy.
The neighbourhood
Quiet residential neighbourhood with a few cafes, restaurants and a supermarket around the corner.
Officially situated and close to Amsterdam Center we are 10min walking away from the hip east end of the city which is strikingly green and spacious, has plenty of sights and opportunities for shopping, eating and drinking on offer. 12 min biking (30 min walking) to Dam Square.
Getting around:
Central station at 10 min. biking (25 min. walking) and highway is easily accessible (eg road A-10).
Public transport (tram and bus) is within 2 min. walking distance.
Bike rental around the corner.

House Rules
We are clean and polite, and we expect the same from you. There are a few (obvious) things to respect in my house:
> Please clean up after yourself and leave the house as you find it
> Always lock the doors when you leave the house
> There is no smoking inside, but a lovely balcony where you can!
> Low sound volumes are observed before 10am and after 10pm in consideration of each other :)
> Strictly no other guests
> No party or noise in the hall and balcony
> Please do not use the right freezer in the kitchen

Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
