We are a South African family with two teenage boys aged 12 and 14. My husband and I work full time and the boys attend the local school. We have a double storey home with 4 bedrooms and 2 lounges so we have plenty of space for a visitor. We are easy going people, like a good laugh and have hosted people in the past. We also share our home with two cats in case you suffer from allergies. We are open to short term or long term arrangements, we are also able to offer meals, laundry and use of a vehicle at an agreed rate. Hobsonville has a ferry service that currently operates in the week and weekend services will be running from about Feb 2019 - there are also bus options in the area. We have a great weekend market, a brewery opening soon and a wide range of restaurants to choose from in walking distance from our home.

About the Area
Hobsonville Point is a newly built area which has a great community vibe, a 35 min ferry ride to the city if you choose to go via the bus travel times vary. We have a local gym, great walks in the area and a variety of places to eat out at

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
