Estamos localizados em um vale protegido, a 200 metros do Porto de Otago, com colinas em três lados, subindo para 600 m. Os ônibus para a cidade vão de um shopping 100m de distância e leva 20-25 minutos para chegar ao centro da cidade, que fica a 10 km de distância. Reservas e bushwalks dentro de 2 km levá-lo até os picos mais próximos e a antiga aldeia portuária fica a 1,2 km. As praias de natação / surf estão localizadas a 12 km de distância em Aramoana (norte) ou St. Clair (sul).

os hóspedes deixam sapatos no alpendre e observam horas razoáveis para o barulho alto (música, etc), como 7:30 da manhã a 10pm nos dias da semana e das 9h às 10h nos fins de semana. Nenhum animal de estimação, a menos que tenha sido previamente acordado. Os hóspedes devem notificar os anfitriões quando eles estão chegando e saindo.

Really friendly and helpful host with interesting conversations. Warm and comfortable room.
Was an interesting experience with no wifi or microwave but full kitchen facilities were still available when I needed them.
Only a short 10 to 15 minute drive from central Dunedin. Really accomodating with me needing to return late at night when the charity event I was volunteering at would finish after midnight.

Great room. Really clean and spacious. We were very busy and hardly saw our hosts. He was pleasant when we did.

Joseph is a very nice guy, who loves to talk and knows a lot of interesting things. The room is big with a comfy bed. From his house it is only 15 minutes by car to the city centre of Dunedin. Very good value!

Joseph and Grace are nice gentle souls, but the atmosphere was akward when we arrived, we did not feel overly welcome, so it did spoil our stay, we spent little time in the house.
A very green organic household that will appeal to others.

Hi Debbie;I'm sorry; I don't understand why you felt awkwardness when you arrived, nor why you say you did not feel overly welcome. I greeted you, I smiled, I showed you around, I pointed out things that could be helpful to you about the house, I offered to move armchairs for you so you could sit next to the fire when you were standing next to it, I offered to give tips on restaurants and profferred info about taxis to the concert. We made you breakfast the next morning, which by the way is not part of a Homestay service and I definitely felt that there was no significant awkwardness throughout the time we spent at the breakfast table. I checked in with both of you regarding the warmth and comfort levels of your beds and bedrooms and you volunteered your opinion of the shower; all being positive. When you arrived you informed us that you intended to spend your Saturday out at Larnach's castle and the shops followed by the concert, and that you would go out for dinner on Friday evening. That means you intended to spend little time in our house before you arrived. Therefore, I ask you to consider whether it is fair that you made your comment about the amount of time you spent, attributing this to some disquiet about your treatment? Also, I think that given you were happy to sit at the table with us on Saturday morning, and the discussion was cordial, your overall assessment needs to reflect this; otherwise is it an accurate and fair reflection of your experience? Also, as a use of Homestay, I, and I am sure all other users, want to be able to rely on other's reviews. A one-heart review is a statement that the host conduct is bad or the facilities are very unacceptable or both. Neither applied in our case, according to your assessments and behaviour; so your review does us and all Homestayers a disservice.

Joseph was really kind and friendly so we talked a lot with him and it was a quite big and warm house We had a great time in his house. Highly recommend it:)

Great bed, provided what I asked for breakfast and had good tips on local stuff. WIFI had to be accessed at the local library just down the street. Really liked the location for the many directions I went from there. And the price is right!
