    I am sad to have to respond to a revenge review. As a host it is my duty to ensure all guests fit in with each other and consider all needs.
    Mahsa suffered 1 unflushed toilet during her 14 day stays. She neglects to say I talked to long term guest who shared it and stepped up the checking regime to multiple times a day. It did not happen again. There is a choice of 4 toilets in the house.
    Mahsa arrived during late and immediately said she was cold. We had all the windows open to enjoy the hot weather so switching on the central heating was not an option. Mahsa was offered a space heater at the cost of electricity which she declined. It was noted she wore light summer clothes and ate ice creams to cool down so I had assumed that she had adapted to weather that was cooler than her home country.
    Mahsa asked to make elaborate meals which involved frying mince. I pointed out that although the kitchen is available for light meals, high fat residue and smells is not acceptable to other guests. It is noted she made use of the fully equipped kitchenette for all her meals and did have occasion to eat out.
    The maintenance work involved filling some cracks in the entrance path and the single considerate workman used no power tools starting at 8.30 on one weekday when most guests had left. Sadly another guest with a motorbike walked on the path before it was dry increasing the drying time to 3 days. During this period I arranged entrance via the garden which we all used successfully except on day 3 by Mahsa. That day Mahsa woke me at 7am (when I had been cleaning after her at midnight) to say the garden gate was locked which was not possible as we had removed the padlock. When I arrived Mahsa had gone without letting me know she was OK but the gate was open. A lady from next door said she heard Mahsa in a panic and opened the gate for her without problem. 2 guests had left prior by the same route with no issue. This was a couple of days before she left and I noticed that she no longer called me for every little task but instead appeared angry when I greeted her. When she was leaving I asked her about the stay, she said it was a very comfortable house and room however she referred me to the gate incident and said i was to blame for the experience and I should have not completed the path work during her stay. I explained booking a builder takes months and the work was completed in a day however despite signage a guest damaged it by accident. If the stay was terrible she has recourse both to myself and also Homestay and could have cancelled. Instead Mahsa decided to have us treading on eggshells. Extremely demanding and impossible to please as holds grudges. We love house guests and have adapted to their needs and as a result over many years have had a lot of bookings via various websites.
